If you do want to know why he eats like that, it's because it's a metaphor for his carelessness. It's intercut with images of people dying in needless battle, because he's just as sloppy with lives as he is with his food. ​@@swiftlymurmursI haven't seen the movie, but it sounds like they did Denethor dirty 😭 In the book he was actually a competent leader, but stubborn and mistrusting of Gandalf. And there was also a plausible reason he went psycho at the very end, though even without it the reader could probably understand.

​@@jonquilgemstoneYes, the film changed Denethor into a simplified villain. He went from being pretty much a throwback to the Numenoreans to basically an uncouth, mean-spirited weasel.

i first saw this in the actual episode, but i come back to this short once or twice a week. honestly probably the best prompt in all of make some noise. it even goes toe to toe with some of the original noise boys bits the whole episode is absolutely fucking gold btw, if you havnt seen it you should 1000% get like a free trial or just get 1 month and watch the whole thing. its the episode with brennan lee mulligan, erika ishii and izzy roland. i dont think there was a single weak round

The best part is he just always had this in his bag, but never bothered to pull it out until prompted here.
