Saul’s 1v1 session with PSV Eindhoven’s Academy

Saul runs a 1v1 ‘Ronaldo’ dribbling session with the 14/15s from PSV’s famous academy.
In this session Saul was looking for lots of high quality repetition that was also linked to specific 1v1 movements and tactics in the game. Using constraints his practice encourages defenders to ‘show attackers outside’ while reminding the forward players to drive inside towards the defender to open up the pitch.

Absolutely brilliant. Love the point difference when going inside or down the line. Great way to teach blocking the straight line to goal. Will be using this at my next session.
