Sadness, trauma, feeling like I can NEVER have what I really want, massive relationship issues I didnt see coming...My whole life. I am 38 years old - I had two scorpio children (lol) I am Taurus opposite scorp - and only now, only NOW when I learned to step out and trust no matter WHAT happens - and I am still a little scared of what that might look like - to just let go. My god does it feel SO counter intuitive. It feels like you are doing something WRONG by letting go of control. It feels SO uncomfortable. It feels like you are betraying yourself...Yet, the more I do it - the more the universe tells me things I NEVER saw before and it has opened my eyes so profoundly to things I never knew - things about myself that I buried deep down within myself for so long. This makes so much sense.

I am also 38 years old. Life is lot calmer now than my 20s but still I haven't get any rewards from Saturn. I let go of control years ago because it usually backfires on me even if the other person is wrong and hurting me. I am still clueless on what to do now. Some says Saturn in Scorpio means control your emotions and be careful while some says feel your emotions.

Hey Alyssa. Thank you for being you, for being yourself, for openly talk about your hardship and transformations in life. I can imagine you have to be really strong and accepting to give that to the world. Thank you! My mother is a saturn in scorpio. She is such a wonderful mother and she learned me while I was watching her to never give up. My brother has a lot of mental and fysical disabilties. In this period of life, he is more stable then he has ever been. But that was not all the time.. And I witnissed it all, how my mother was stable in it all, and her controlling nature is something she had to have in those time periods. You do not give up control when you have a child that needs so much care and dangerous operations. Now, when everything goes okay for him (own appartment, girlfriend, dog, job) she has troubles "letting go" but hey, why wouldn't she? She and my father had to be for him for 25 years. But she's doing soo well right now. My mother is my example I love her!

Lots of communication issues, and self worth issues, intimacy issues etc. One of the biggest lessons for me was learning to speak up for myself. Thank you for this video!! My Saturn is in Scorpio. I just decided, at the end of this year, that I want to live not die! My sexual abuse happened to me as a child. And my mother denied it (after talking to me about...she ended up flipping and denying it) she then ended up denying me...because I couldn’t just ever let it go.

I graduated in 2001 and my Saturn is in Scorpio!

I'm born October 14th 1985 and was going through depression and suicidal thoughts and right now going through Saturn Returning. And it just came to me "I want to live!" I mean what if I live another year and something amazing happens? What if I live and I meet somebody and do something that will be awesome? And last but not least, I shall surely die someday, so no need to seek it out! Alas, now I'm just stuck with (occasional) depression!

Hello. I am going through my Saturn Return (I have Saturn in Scorpio). I have a better understanding of it now because of this video; I am definitely going through some emotional situations, and gradually I am allowing myself to feel the chaos. I definitely try to control my emotions which actually I can say this Saturn Return started around late 2012 for me so I see that not happening anymore. The start of this year, I have been learning patience for myself which helps so much with my Saturn Return. My Saturn is in Libra, so.. I have already gone through mine, of course. It was.. rough, to say the least. Both my parents passed away. I moved probably 15 times (that's not an exaggeration). I was in an up and down relationship that made me feel horrible about myself a good deal of the time (with an Aquarius). I started a promising new career, that has been great, but also very hard, as I was also diagnosed with high functioning autism nearing the end of my return. It was.. a little insane. But yes, it taught me SO many things, and I came out a completely different person. I feel like somehow there are tiny little remnants of that time, almost like fragments floating around me in the air, all the time, that are reminders. Almost as if they're saying "don't get off course", or.. "you're still not there yet". I know that sounds weird, but.. life is weird. I don't hate that time of my life, but I certainly don't have any desire to relive any of it. It was about learning. If I never believed anything about astrology BEFORE my Saturn return, I am a believer now. Good luck, Alyssa, and anyone else going through it. Hang in there, and just know it happens for a reason.

And it genuinely DOES feel as if you're going through something. Almost like you're walking through an obstacle course/house of horrors/maze that you have to find your way out of. Good things can come, too. It's not all negative, but it's almost like the air is different, your mind is different, or changing, and things are heavier. I normally don't talk this way, because it sounds a bit strange, but about that time in my life, it's very true.

All those famous ladies are highly sexualized muses as well, which really fits the bill. There are parts of their charts which allowed them to become famous, but notice it's associated with their sexuality in their creative force. I have Saturn in Scorpio in the third house and a Leo rising. She said, "It all went by so fast." So maybe now, I should just breathe and smile, because things will be ok. There are things about being a living human bubble on Earth we can't control, so give up the struggle, stop wasting time worrying, relax, and enjoy what you manifested *with* that peace

I know this is an older video but I cannot thank you enough for posting it. I'm a Capricorn, with an ascendant in Leo, moon in Taurus, and Saturn in Scorpio... Your raw honesty touched my heart and really made me think. I was sexually assaulted on a date two years ago that I have spent time trying to cope with through counseling... But primarily I've focused not on freeing myself from that pain and making it worth something, but controlling emotions and my environment, and even sometimes people around me. Hi Alyssa! Thanks for that. I've had the hardest time wrapping my head around my Saturn. It's my blind spot, and it means a lot to have another Saturn in Scorpio share their discoveries to help me understand it. You are incredibly insightful, and I can see you have a strong intuitive grasp of the world around you, which makes me wonder about the rest of your chart! Other prominent water signs I'm sure! As for my cataclysm, it didn't happen at age twenty. It was age 13 when my mom died after a two-year hellacious battle with cancer, and my dad put an ocean between us promptly after. No surprise that I have Saturn in the 10th, I'm guessing. And for extra fun, my Mars in Aquarius in the 2nd house is square my Saturn. I recently learned that in Vedic astrology, it's believed that the South Node doles out punishment/reward for your success/failures in overcoming the challenges of Saturn. Never heard that before, so I'm mulling that over, and wondering if that rings true for you?

Your not okay though. I thought I could bury everything. All the trauma and heartbreak and feeling empty and full of sorrow and rage, but it doesn't go away, it just festers silently in the depths of you. You actually get to a point that it isn't even consciously in your mind. But suddenly, when you least expect it, it affects you and you don't even recognize that this pain was what you had buried before. All you know is you are breaking out in shingles at 23 years of age, having 3-4 anxiety attacks a day and thinking of killing yourself because you think that your partner who emotionally and verbally abuses you is right due to the confusion that your insane feelings are doing to you. Now you have the mess of a lifetime and you don't even know it yet, but you will eventually figure it out after a few years when you have gone through even more pain from losing your mind in this stealthy past pain that you have forgotten and are still feeling. You have to heal when you get hurt real bad because you will regret it later if you don't. And if people are gonna tell you your weak or to get over it or make you feel like you are burdening them, like they did to me, tell them you are getting over it by grieving what has happened, or that you are not weak because this is how every human being has always healed or that they are insensitive and if they were really a friend or family member who loved and cared for you, they would not be so selfish and impatient and would imagine if they were you, not if they were in your situation as themselves, but actually in your situation as you. This is compassion and empathy and it is how we heal others and how we know what being a human being is. I wish I had have stood up back then, but what's done is done and I am still cleaning up the mess and picking up the pieces of my broken heart, wishing I could be free to finally let go of the pain and move on, but the pain must take it's course and I don't know how long it will run, but I miss being happy. I miss myself and feeling full and vibrant, like I once did in a more innocent time.

abra7777 I know it hurts a lot feeling rejected from your partners, etc, I have been there, it is not easy at all, let me tell you, i went trough a phas of not wanting to live anymore. But you will come to a moment in your life where you will realize that your sthrenght does`t rely on others but yourself. Your happiness depends only on yourself. One of the the things that planet teaches you is to connect to the sprititual world, the goodness that yoy can do with all the pain and knowledge that you have now. Use. All the wisdom and lessons you decide to have and share it with no fear, wisely.

Watching your Saturn videos has been intensely therapeutic. XO from a Sagittarius Saturn in the 6th, conjunct the descendant, with 8th in Capricorn.

I recently started making music (unusual I might add) as for these karma patterns I really feel like I'm starting to break them slowly but surely I just got sick of running from them with the woe is me l, the devil is trying to destroy me (fucking little prick he is) complex and facing them no matter the out come. They say people with this placement don't usually blossom until the 30-35 range; if you learn your lessons can it be sooner (I understand we have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable)? This is a quite fabulous explanation of Saturn. For some reason, I've had this intuitive need lately to work this planet out, and never realised it was coming so close to earth, or that is was transiting through Scorpio etc. I feel my life is dying right now, in every way possible. Once all that is dying in you is actually transmuting you into a phinix from the ashes of that death. In a way we are being forged like fine steel, and then into pure gold. Damn have I been through it for almost 30 years. Still not sure how much more I can survive. I get kicked hard as soon as I start to get up I get kicked even harder but I hang in there and will always rise above it, as I did all the other times I didn't think I could. In other words "it's a test".

Spot on! Very interesting to me that after this video all the uprisings around the world started and the driving force/leadership are Saturn in Scorpio people. Be patient and pay attention to what's going on. Listen to everyone, explain yourself only when you feel comfortable doing it, and take deep breaths and walks in the parks. Hugging trees, looking at the leaves, sitting in the ground are things that bring a big rest to the heart

One more thg in India v worship Saturn...we do prayers in temples here - it helps - prayers of Shiva ( the god off death n birth,god of yoga n meditation n the founder of universe) mediate on Saturdays n u ll feel change - try to be vegetarian if ur health n habitat allows n also serve needy,unprivileged,animals n old ppl...stand for right thgs( Saturn represents tat) n u ll feel suddenly light at heart n u ll feel so fucking strong tat u can sense thgs - at times death n others thoughts too ( out off my own expirence )

It's true most of my immediate family is gone. Saturn in Scorpio is a struggle and I'm still dealing with trying finding my happiness at 35.
