9 weeks and a few days until release of Satisfactory 1.0 on a tuesday, and 15 weeks and a few days until release of Factorio 2.0 (and that DLC) on a monday. that will leave us 6 weeks to do a playthrough of Satis including the story, new tiers, use of SAM (pink gas or liquid SAM?), then another 6 weeks for a Factorio run, so that in december we can build nicer versions of those two factories or "pretty them up". quite a lot of work, but should be doable until the end of the year if we limit less important things (like normal daily life :-) to a minimum.

Someone commented on reddit, that the new round building could be a centrifuge - which kinda makes sense, it would separate the gas from two solids. So a new gas is coming into the game?

looks to be copper being put in, and since copper oxide has copper and oxygen it is possible that we have the ability to extract oxygen out of copper while also getting a new pure form of copper.

The "red lights" is a visual effect layered on top with fading red edges to emphasize the "emergency".

This is a really good breakdown! I love that they also went with the theme of when they released the pipe update. That was my all time favourite update just because they were trolling so much, which I really enjoyed. Great video! I look forward to seeing you play 1.0 and please start a new save play through on release day.

WOOT so excited for this. new buildings, new materials. I bet that not teleporter new item is a space elevator part. any of the new models for items could be old items with new skins, like the new ingot could be a new copper ingot. or maybe you mix SAM with caterium to create an alloy in the foundry. or maybe it is bronze or brass. or something else.

Pink could be a new fuel, with the pink in the background showing a "full fuel tank" on a train, requiring them to stop for fueling for a lil more complexity and alternatives vs electric requirements. Random first thought.

I'm loving reading all these comments on multiple ideas, but i've already confirmed the Pink liquid is Pepto-Bismol since its the Toilet Update hahahhaa

honestly I am extremely excited I never got ver far in Staisfactory, because was always like "there is no point when next update will screw everything" or "I'll finish the game properly when it is full released"

Doubt it's bronze, that would make the new ore tin and it feels kind of too similar to steel to include bronze (copper and tin vs iron and coal).

Yeh, i was referring to the colour mainly, for me its to different to be an ingot in regards to shape, as the others are all the same, just different colours...

I'm guessing here, but could the new ingots be something to do with Bauxite, maybe. And the new pipe could be a caterium version or maybe just a colour change to make it look like it's a new variant. Also @ 2:12 on the pipe, it looks like some sort of pressure gauge with a release valve, maybe.

Hey bud thanks for the comment, i 100% believe this is the Electromagnetic Field Generator that is already in game.

My guess the purple fluid is hydrogen gas (hydrogen had purple emission color) and it is packaged to the tank which has a flammable sign on it (as hydrogen highly flammable).

This has been a common suggestion for sure

Don't know if anyone has said this yet, but the round building I'm pretty sure is the Quantum Encoder. I believe around the alpha stage they left in some early tier 8 things, such as the Hadron Collider (Particle Accelerator) and the Quantum Encoder. It seems they've given it quite the visual rework, but it is still pretty similar to what the original building looked like.

8:20 the machines literally makes AI LIMITERS on the left (2 of them) so very likely the belt goes under the foundation and pops up over on the right and that the item indeed is AI LIMITERS on that belt without any hocus pocus the "unknown item" could be something like super-conducting wire (scifi thing for uber wires) oh and you missed the green gas/liquid above the red explosive canister thingies but great video :D was fun trying to find all the new stuff

100% Right on the AI Limiters, it just did not come to mind when i was recording this video, so good spot. I like the idea of the wire, Caterium mixed with something to make them new ingots

24:35 I believe the light changes are more for the cinematic side. Probably not ingame. I think it's to draw your eyes towards the hub nothing more.

the new canisters are the cartridges for the new defense laser turrets :D LASERS EVERYWHERE!!!

that gold pipe matches the color of the new ingot and might be a special pipe required to move something new. or am i the only one that sees its texture matches the new ingot?

13:46 you can litteraly see items beeing fed trough that hole by a conveyor connected to the splitter/merger next to it. From what i can see its battery and screws.

items at 21:30 are space elevator parts. all the elevator parts, and only them have some green lights (usualy paired) all over the objects.

I think the box at 12:22 is the remote storage that was originally scrapped. I thin, that the pink juice has to do with sam ore

For your Mk.3 Miner, I think we have an 'if it looks like a duck and it quacks like a duck' situation and it's just that they added the chevron things to the Mk.1. I don't doubt they have reworked the Mk.3 but I don't think making it look more like the Mk.1 make much sense.

25:00 The red light might be coming from the 2 red lights behind the hub, but I don’t see where the other red lighting is coming from, I think its just lumen.

Highly Likely.. Since, they have mentioned this on the dev stream and as we know especially large build a lot of pipes are needed so if we can reduce pipes to help performance, the better

​​​@@ItsBitz I thought I had a good explanation but now my brain is just fried and I'm done thinking about it. We can still see the Power Storage in front of the Industrial Fluid Buffer so we know we at least haven't moved right. By looking in our own game and using the tree in the second shot that doesn't look to be in the first shot we can tell we're still in approximately the same place, just a different time. Other effects are due to using a dolly zoom for the second shot, and that's my best guess. Also, I just saw a clip of Snutt saying we'll probably enjoy the mk.3 miner fix. I thought it was more speculative than that. 😅 I still hope fluid trains get a buff too unless there's another clip I haven't seen.

This could be a number of things, including snutt adding ambient light into the scene just for trailer sparkle, which he's done many times before

Great break down video. Was an awesome visualizations of subtle reveals to us experienced players and trolling by Snutt and CS to thousands of people watching the trailer release for the toilet flush meme from the last several years. 😀 I know he commented recently on stream about the many hours across many days put into designing the factories for these release trailers, just for a single 3 to 10 second video clip.... but the reverse of that is the hours so many streamers (and individuals) put into slow motion examinations of the videos to eek out every little secret he possibly revealed. 😀 It is so worth the time he puts into it for us loyal fans. For the gold pipe, the skins probably makes sense. My speculation was wondering if they separated out Liquid from Gas into different handling pipes... but then I realized creating an entire new mechanism and physics for piping gas without broader early access testing is not wise... unless they just simply keep the existing physics, and simply restrict what can go into the pipes? Was just a thought.

Yeh we looked at that, as we know snutt has been meming about lasers for a few months now. It would not surprise me if the animation for building to do that.

the "command blocks" you speak of do not exist in UE out of the box, those are programmed by the devs from scratch to do what they want them to do. I have been using UE for 8 years and you will not come across something like that built in to the editor reason being, all the variations of Item ID's rather the be integers or names, or strings. so yea lol. not knocking what your saying but i just took it as your saying those come out of the box in UE for us developers to use and sadly its not like that.

Probably late to the vid but does anyone know what's happening to the alien ore? Last I remember it was supposed to actually be useful in 1.0. is that still the case or what? Same thing with the WIP, will we actually get a connection or story for them in 1.0?

Imn curently trying to decide if its worth continuing my save or if i should just hold until 1.0 since im going to start fresh anyway. What do you think?

before I even start watching this: 27 minutes video on a one minute teaser? wtf dude? after watching: you saw pretty much everything I saw. I kinda doubt they bring in bronze as a additional metal this late in development. mostly because they also need to add tin to mix it with copper for bronze (unless they mix copper with aluminium, which is also a kind of bronze. but most people know bronze as copper + tin) I'm very excited for 1.0. Haven't played much SF in the last few months because I was a bit overwhelmed by the late game stuff, but I will definitely play a lot in September.

This is a big No and has already bee confirmed. Even when i spoke to snutt in January about the plans, he stated there will be no experimental as there will be a BETA instead, as they would like everybody to experience 1.0 together
