@spaceghost9969 even though theophany being a well known theme in the religious area, people don't talk too much about it as it is needed. Jesus Christ is present in ALL books, direct or indirectly and this makes a huge difference in how we perceive the scriptures.

One very key point the story of job, that is often overlooked is: It was God who brought up job and it was God whom with His judgement declared at the start that Job was "blameless and upright.." So a key reason, perhaps the most important reason why Satan went after Job was to prove before all the heavenly hosts that God erred in judgement that God was wrong publicly (for them). It was never really about Job, it was about satan testing God's judgement and correctness.

Pastor Allen pointed this out in one of his sermont, this was a bad way say. He pointed out, as he studied the Hebrew Bible, instead of saying "Has thou considered my servant...", the text should say, "You have noticed my servant Job, haven't you?!". So intead of God pointed Job out to Satan, He was saying that 'I know that you have noticed my servant, Job'.

Wow, I just found your channel, and mannnnnn I am grateful. The lord has been resting on me. And I have fallen short, and on this path of repentance I have accepted surrender to Christ, to God. To all of heaven, because it is my HONOR to SERVE. And the story of job is an amazing testimony to OUR GODS MERCY and just utmost love and humility. Who could be so gracious as our lord? Technically the word 'Lucifer' isn't in scripture as a name. In fact, Satan is never given a name, even Satan is just a title meaning 'adversary' or 'enemy' which is even used to describe God being angry with David in 1 Chronicles 21 (We know it's God from 2 Samuel 24). Just goes to show how the dude is so insignificant to not even have his name remembered. 'Lucifer' comes from the late 4th-century latin vulgate translation of the Hebrew word 'helel' meaning "star of the morning" in Isaiah 14:12. Lucifer or any such variation of that word as a name, is not present in scripture anywhere.

Reading this reminds me of something else, both in Old and New Testaments. Like when Pharaoh in Exodus goes unnamed, and the rich man in Luke also goes unnamed, and these were known opponents of God, who ended up on the wrong side of eternity for doing so, just like the accuser shall.

The Bible definitely seems to have a pattern of trodding the images of those that are against God underfoot. You see this a lot in the books of chronicles and kings. Much is said about the good kings, but the bad ones get a few words and then are forgotten.

​@@rightousnesspursuer6523 Granted, the Bible does pay special mention to individuals who are ESPECIALLY bad, like King Ahab, who had an entire narrative and conflict with Elijah ascribed to him. Or Samson, whose code of conduct was arguably the worst out of all the judges.

I suppose for a being outside time, who is able to manipulate the past completely just by touching it, the greatest rebuttal of mockery is to erase their name from time itself. Which makes it so unironic that the Egyptian pharaohs had a habit of trying to erase their predecessors' histories.

This video was 🔥! The ending really gave me chills bro and when you spoke about the animal sacrifices, I understood perfectly! I received a revelation or insight if you will by the Holy Spirit about how Christ was the Ultimate Sacrificial Lamb because even when the law told them that the animal had to be clean and also firstborn, no amount of animal sacrifices would’ve gotten us to Christ. For one, the animals are on the earth and even though they don’t seem impure, they are because they were created on earth, so the sacrifice wouldn’t have mattered. Second, say if this continued and Christ never died, then it’d be a work based salvation which isn’t right. We’d then start to believe we deserve and belong in Eternity just because we did this and that. Sorry for babbling, thought I’d share something that I received from reading Luke Chapter 1 😅

This video brought tears in my eyes thinking how Jesus forgave a great sinner like me ❤
