Hi just one question from the bible , If God appeared as a Human (Jesus) then why did God pray to himself ? God keeps praying to " Father" but isn't he the "Father" anyways ? Can you clarify this to me

@@eclipse9472 go watch the episode on "the Angel of the LORD" Also, before you watch, hope you believe in the Trinity? So here's a short answer though. Jesus came to earth as "the son" of God, and when he was leaving he promised that "another comforter" (the holyspir) will grace the earth and be in us. Jesus came to earth to show us what the ideal son of God should be and behave like, because God was going to adopt us as his own sons, so Jesus prayed that we might pray, he fasted, he preached the Gospel of the kingdom, he healed the sick, etc so that we can have a pattern for our own sonship. God comprises of the father, son and holy spirit. They exist eternally as One, that's why if Jesus had fallen it'll be catastrophic for the Godhead because their eternal existence as one might have been threatened

@@eclipse9472Yes, Jesus was giving us the perfect example of man. He fulfilled every law perfectly and loved everyone perfectly. God’s will for man is to love God with all your heart and love your neighbor or as yourself. God became human, and lived the human life that perfectly fits into God’s will, that includes praying to God. He humbled and masked His glory so that He could show us God’s love. We cannot do this because sin separates us from God. Through Jesus perfect life as a man, and His sacrifice as God we are now reconciled to God so we can pray to Him as well. That’s why we say “in Jesus name I pray”. Because through Jesus, we are reconciled to God.

He was NEVER going to give in! there is no almost He is God . He is not like us even as a man.

Jesus in the back of his mind knew that he wasn't gonna give in. But that doesn't mean that he wasn't tempted. Jesus was like us because he was also human. In the same way that he didn't know the hour, is the same way that he got tempted.

I never put it together that one of the three temptations satan brought before Jesus was using scripture in order for him to kill himself, saying angels would catch him if he jumped off the cliff. Wow. Proverbs 30:8-9 “Two things I ask of you, Lord; do not refuse me before I die: 8 Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. 9 Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’

I just want to encourage you, the Lord woke me up early and I am grateful to see this in a time of great need. Needing to know the love of God more, this hits the mark. To endure all of this for us. It didn't hurt Him any less because He was God, He didn't have an easier time of it than we do. Thank you God for being so steadfast in your love, unshakable in will for us that you endured it all even unto a cross to death. For us.

Praise God. Jesus shows us by example what we must do. The road will be difficult and treacherous. If we remain steadfast and committed to the word, His light and glory await us in His kingdom. Be it temptation, tribulations, or doubt. Hold tight to the faith. And let Him sort them out. For we are not the Son of God, but we are His warriors.

Meditation on that scripture will help you understand better. Check the temptations with the adamic ones, also check the locations of the verses he quoted during the temptations, you'll find out what's behind the answers he gave. Fun fact: the temptations were happening in Jesus' mind, just like it happens to us today, and you know how time can be in the mind. What's the point of a temptation, if there's no Chance of you falling, or if there's not something to contemplate about???

@@eduemma1896 No, he's right. The word "tempt" means to entice (which implies you succeeded) OR to make a strong attempt to entice (in which case you failed). The scriptural passages clearly show that Satan failed. Matthew writes of Jesus' rebuke being particularly sharp - showing he was far more offended than enticed. Lukes' account is more neutral. But it gives no indication that Jesus was actually enticed and portrays Christ's rebuke as immediate. Nowhere is there an indication that Christ longed for what Satan offered. Contrast that with Genesis 3:6 which makes a point of showing how enticed Eve was.

I don't agree with the title text on the thumbnail that says "He almost Gave in" Jesus had no intentions of ever giving in. Although he was tempted as everyone else. Almost means he was close to accepting the offer. But there is nothing in scriptures that show he almost did.

Thank you for this video… it really put into perspective the suffering and trials Jesus went through even before the crucifixion. I know it’s possible to live on no food for 40 days as long as there’s water… but honestly… that’s pretty super human to do it voluntarily.

On the second temptation, satan used the same tactics as with Eve. satan told her if she eats it she will certainly not die. Here satan told Jesus he will not fall and get hurt but be rescued by angels. This false path of security which will lead us to sin is also what we should watch out for in our life.
