How do you have faith in God when Satan as you say can't do anything without God's permission because this is true in my life God Gave Satan permission to manipulate my father to rape me and now I have to love and forgive my father it drives me insane and I'm going to burn forever in a fire if I don't love and forgive my father and it would seem if it's all true god gave Satan permission to have me be unable to forgive my father do you know how rational and stupid that sounds but if it's true how can you day in day out be thankful to God since that's also a requirement to appraise the enabler of pain and suffering and be thankful for it

Satan so annoying

I lost my mom and dad a year apart when I was 17-18 I was completely lost and alone. I lost my faith at that time I was so angry and mad, my life gone to crap for years and years. When I had my son at 19 ill never forget holding him and feeling life get blown back into my soul. Once I reconnected with God and forgave myself/parents. My life has been Fuller ever since I don't care what anyone says I'm complete. And no I don't go to church I worship and gives thanks throughout my day.

When we stop letting the enemy have control over our thoughts and emotions, and let God take control/submit to Jesus Christ, we realize the devil is powerless. Alexia Rodriguez I think you may have missed what Piper was saying. He said that God controls everything. You can’t allow or disallow anything and Satan can’t stop ir continue anything. God controls you and him like a puppet. You can’t say “if we....”. It’s “if God causes me to.....” and “if God causes Satan to....”. You’re like an inanimate object that must be moved about and thoughts placed in your head. At least this is what you have to believe if you assign to what Piper teaches. And if you do, then do t blame me for pointing this out, God made me do it. Take care.

My friend, Your own prayers will bear much fruit when they're from the heart. God promises us that we have Christ as our mediator, and that the Spirit himself intercedes for us. You need to pray. I’ve been a Christian for my whole life and I’m 19 years old and I am currently having a spiritual battle between good and evil, the devil is trying to pull me by telling me to leave my home and live somewhere else to deal drugs, make music and rap to the youth, make a gang and the devil said I can do all this and have fame and fortune, but I know deep down in my heart I want none of this and to continue to follow god and to follow his plan for my life it’s so hard as well because I suffer with anxiety stomach pains for 2 years now and it feels like the thug life is the only way to live covering my pain with drugs etc and I know it’s not worth it in the end but it’s my attitude now that just does not care anymore

That is 100% correct, God is Sovereign. Some people today foolishly believe that they can exert their sovereignty over God and yet they think that they are Christians. I am a born again true believer and I know that the totally honest relationship is the only relationship that God honours. I have been set free from sin, not claiming to be without sin, but free from condemnation and death and I have a greater loathing for sin especially when I am convinced of it, I avoid sin and my heart cries out for departure. I walk with The Lord and I love Him and want to be 100% pleasing to Him. I want to be like my Yeshua and when I am with him I will be like Him. He is Lord of my life and nothing else matters to me...

dude that only means God does what only He wants! not what we want, not what we pray for, not what we expect, that is what it means! it doesn't matter whether you're loyal to him or not, He still goes ahead and does what He wants anyways. people like you think that if you're obedient to him then He'll suddenly give you the remote to change channels, and sadly both the good and the bad are in the same boat, no remote! even that Bible has it in black and white, no one deserves the Kingdom of Heaven, it shall be given as a gift to those that He chooses to give, not that anyone can reach or unlock a level where they are 'deserving' of it... so forget thinking you're better than anyone, actually it's worse if you're proud of yourself as that is one of the things He don't like

I came across by the will of God Mark 5 in my Bible just now. Specifically Verses 6-13 about Jesus giving the demons permission to go into the herd of pigs out of the man. On a humorous note I always giggle imagining the sound of that many pigs squealing and jumping off of a cliff. 😅 God gave me a big sense of humor no offense. This led me to the website and this video when I searched about satan and his demons having to have permission from God. I never really thought so deeply about that and all that it entails!! I'm glad that God showed me this today because I needed this. I hope this blesses someone else also. And I wondered..why is God testing me? Why did He turn me over to Satan? but through this all..I remembered when I was 20 years old I made a very important decision..because I was following the teachings of men who got their ideas from the OT.. and I pushed Gods Warning down and made my decision anyway..for reasons of fear and pride and people pleasing (idols) I suffered greatly through that mistake..BUT I found Jesus..through this experience and have learned to Trust Jesus and Jesus Alone! That's not a true statement; many let in or allow the Satan and his demons in because of ignorance , lack of knowledge. Now, when Satan and his DEMONS comes in and possess the physical body; he owns it, and he runs it and he CONTROLS it. So how is that free will?

@@managermddirect6045 Wrong. The devil does not have that authority. The devil can only influence you to do whats wrong. The final decision belongs to you on whether to take that action. The devil is not like God. God is all-powerful, everywhere present, and all-knowing. Satan is none of these. He does not have unlimited power, he cannot be everywhere at once, and he does not know everything. He is a created, limited being. He depends upon God for his existence. When Satan approached God, he did not come as an equal, but rather as a subordinate. - there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them (Job 1:6). Satan was unable to tempt Jesus without the permission of the Holy Spirit. -Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the Devil (Matthew 4:1). Also Satan ( The Devil ) is a coward.... In spite of all his bluster and rage, he is a coward. The Bible says: - Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the Devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Without prayer, we cannot know God. If we do not know God, we cannot love Him. If we do not love God, we cannot keep His commandments nor discern His will. God wants to pursue a relationship with us and that is only made possible when God first shines His light into our hearts that leads us to turn away from our sin and run towards Him. Prayer is our response to God's calling and the means by which we grow in our relationship with Him, as well as knowledge of Him.

The Bible says we are not ignorant of the devices of the devil. We know generally what he is capable of and sometimes God may reveal to us the specifics of what Satan is up to. In any case whether we know or not about what he's up to, we can always be rest assured Christ was manifested to destroy the works of the devil and gave us victory over him.

Everyone is subject to the will of god who is sovereign over ALL. Freewill Christians may as well believe in two gods or many gods because they think there is a will outside of god's will.

So god wants evil although he can just tell the devil no. And people think it’s ok cause god has some plan.

Every question like this you have about the Bible and god and Satan will be answered if you use Strong’s concordance to read the Bible. It shows what’s really being said! Hebrew and Greek are the original languages back when Bible was written so strongs shows the words in their original intended meaning. You’re mind will be blown!

I agree with John Piper in almost everything but not on God's Sovereignty over sin. It, in some way, makes people less responsible for the sins they have committed and also diminishes Jesus' spectacular act on the cross.

God cannot sin nor tempt anyone to sin. God withholds the wickedness of the hearts of all mankind. When God allows someone to sin, he simply releases his withholding power upon the subject, and, by the sinful hearts operations, the subject itself brings forth the sin, accomplishing God’s purpose in the action, whether it be justice or an act of his providence over all his creatures for the purpose of his good pleasure.

We are the sons and daughters of the one true God God never promised we wouldn't have struggles here on earth but he does promise to always be there and get us through it and that's why he sent Jesus to die on the cross To save us from sin and from eternity in hell because he wants us in Heaven with him, but it's our choice to choose him or not

That was only in Job"s case, because God had a hedge around him and his family, Satan knew that. The same is not true for everyone else, there wide open to Satan, only Yeshua has power to stop him, thats why you must repent, be baptized and worship Yeshua.

It’s not only in Jobs case, Baal had to listen to the commandments of God too even though he’s Baal evil just like Satan. Remember God created good and evil. Read your Bible with understanding and if you don’t understand ask for understanding.

If thats the case, then why doesnt god forbid satan to leave innocent children alone, and not rape and molest them . He has to get gods permission first, right? This is what makes it hard for me to believe in a god like that. I ask god this question every day. We have a roaming lion, on our hands, but the zoo keeper doesnt want to catch him just quiet yet.

Does everybody get the same punishment in hell? Or is there levels of evilness. Sometimes I feel like I barely fell short of God and my reality is my hell. I have 7+ different disorders, diseases, possibly cancers. It feels like I'm being tormented. Especially with my gastroparesis. And a lifetime of muscular dystrophy pain. I just hope God have something important planned for me for a lifetime of pain. Maybe I have a very specific demon to fight when Jesus return because I've always been faithful but a sinner.

pain is delivered with a guarantee to hurt in life and is widely made available to all under the sun yet promises of good life and health and wealth are so rare it's not difficult to understand why a God so powerful would send people to write his public speech on his behalf and sell it too in Bookshops. The only verse I agree with is that 'God does that which pleases Him', and I can guarantee you whatever that is has nothing to do with our wailing and cries for help, more about 'his Kingdom and glory' than about what we need or want in life, it's more about what He wants!

That aside I am troubled by your second paragraph so can I ask what you think will happen if he were to come again? Would he come to slaughter with a sword? Jesus Christ is now and forever will be in heaven judging souls, that is my Praeterist view, as I have faith in the words of Jesus that he would return to heaven in judgement in that generation when the temple was destroyed.

My question is this...Why are we so upset with satan when it's god that's letting satan do this evil things? If god gives satan a key to enter into someone's house and steal their stuff, isn't god as equal responsible?

Knowing that something will happen is not the same as causing it to happen. We are prone to sin because of our fallen nature. Sometimes God chooses to help us resist that sin, sometimes he chooses to let us learn from that sin, and sometimes he chooses to let our sin show others why sin is such a bad thing and why they need the salvation of Christ. It is God's choice.

it would have been better to be created as mindless robots instead, this creation is a trap and heartbreaking experiment because no one asked to be born in the first place, it's a bloody trap, and the more one looks for answers the more questions come up, the more one looks for help, more problems crop up, the entire design was a big flop and now everyone's trying to hide the flaws by forcing themselves to accept the pain and helplessness. its so sad, we have a powerful God who's not eager to leave the comfort of heaven to answer even a fraction of our prayers, we die holding on to hope, praying for things we never see in our lifetime, let's just hope those who will get to world 2.0 won't get a repeat of such tragedy and travesty

I don't know what I am, I know I am human, I have sinned so many times but it doesn't bother me. I’ve also thought the thoughts you think, and have questions myself. I’m a Christian, I’ve pleaded with Jesus to help me in a hard time because the things I was doing and the beliefs I held weren’t helping me in leading a constructive lifestyle. I think maybe he has heard me, I’m different than how I was. Yet, is it all true or is it just a belief I hold that has no meaning in our world? One thing is certain: it’s a belief that has helped me more than the atheist-like belief I clung to. Anyway, here is a video link discussing God’s existence, maybe it will help answer some of your questions and if not, perhaps it will push you to search for more answers. It’s by Creation Live Magazine, and each of their episodes are about 30 minutes long. They discuss all sorts of topics and bring science into the discussion. I highly recommend you watch it. If it doesn’t change your mind, at least you now have learned some of the arguments of a Christian belief.

Now, this relates to your first statement about God being fictitious. As for Satan, his influence, our sin, and the afterlife (if any of that is a thing) I don’t think this video covers, but if you’re truly interested, I can send other videos that speak on that that might give you understanding. Anyway, I believe that if you can’t trust a religious doctrine because it holds no scientific basis, then you wouldn’t trust the spiritual teachings of that doctrine either. Creation Live attempts to prove the Bible’s factual accuracy and thus sets a basis for believing in its spiritual aspects. Maybe this will help you. If not, don’t quit the search for truth and keep asking questions and keep listening for the answers.

Well that person doesn’t have God and the Holy Spirit in them so they basically can possess someone if they aren’t reaching out for God or have him in their life.

I deal with demonic oppression but they can’t possess me bcus I have the Holy Spirit and God won’t allow them to take over my body bcus he owns my body. So we Christians still can be oppressed by demons but we can’t be possessed id we belong to God.

Satan is subject to God, and only has power which God allows. When men reject God, they are turned over to Satan. In any case God is fair, and righteous at all times. Satan only has power over the individual with that individuals consent.

Why do Christian’s always say GOD has the ultimate decision in everything. They seem to blame the devil . Jesus came to give life in abundance not to take it away. So I believe all the bad things in this world the devil is to blame . Not because GOD says ok do it . He is a destroyer a hungry lion . He destroys everything he can . As children of GOD we are in His hands and he will protect us from satan . He will ask permission to harm us .

The church has not had the victory very much because it does not do what the word says and does not believe it ,but there is small progress going on some where ,,the church will finaly believe and build the Kingdom of God and have the full victory on earth for the human race ,meanwhile the devil does what he wants ,God protecting the small flock that seek understanding

The true church/invisible church (the sum total of obedient followers) has never once failed to secure the victory through God. God always fulfils his purposes in the church. The established/visible church, however, is another matter entirely. Let's not confuse the two. "I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it."
