    I love this. It’s not about knowing the will of God regarding “what’s next in my life,” as much as it is to wait patient for God to reveal what He has planned for us. We must change our focus to knowing the moral will of God and doing it. Then God will, in His timing, reveal the earthly things He designed us to do, such as our job, who to marry, what to eat, etc. Application: 1. Read the Bible to learn God’s moral will for EVERYONE. How God wants us to live is all in the Bible, it has the answer. 2. Pray for God to RENEW our mind and allow the Holy Spirit to live through us so what we do brings glory to God and shows that we are women and men of God. 3. Obey.

    Yet Piper claims he knew what God's will was very early in his life. That's what happens when you become a Calvinist, you lose a piece of what God is capable of and he becomes smaller.

    While I agree with the overall message... I wouldn't say that 'there is not virtue in seeing tomorrow' and that 'satan does that'. For example, Joseph was given dreams of the future by God and it was virtuous of Joseph to utilize them. I just wouldn't make such an absolute claim that future premonitions are always evil and from the devil. I am not trying to defend ungodly predictions, as those are wrong, but just saying that knowing the future wouldn't be inherently bad. In fact, we should try to predict it and make wise investments. But we definitely shouldn't rely on crystal balls or witchcraft.

    Terrible Christian, not at all that i am calling anyone that, the one w the name t/c - i feel weird saying that, its kinda like having the words 'gay' and 'marriage' together, they don't attache! Lol anyways, Amen, i agree and wanted to say that our Theology should always lead to Doxology. If ones Theology doesn't lead to Doxology, we miss the mark. Theology helps us understand who GOD is, and then Doxology is worship; but not what people these days generally call worship, i.e. Our everyday Christian life is our worship, not just music and singing. So if we have Doxology, and not Theology, we worship something or or someone other than GOD, YHWH- which is idolatry. Theology without Doxology however, just leads to a cold orthodoxy with no Life in it! So, indeed both must be applied and there should be a balance. keep pressing in!!!†!!! Grace, Peace, and LOVE, to all the elect of YHWH.

    How to have a mind that knows the will of god; simply pretend to know things you do not know. There is no evidence for god, so everyone claiming to know "his" will is pretending to know things they do not know. You can do this too. Its easy.

    LivingmyTruth How do you explain that cultures who do NOT believe in your god have moral systems, and lower crime and murder rates than the US? Animals also have moral systems. You can hardly call a lion "immoral" because it must eat a zebra for dinner.

  • @queenaminalivingabundantly4320

    @queenaminalivingabundantly4320

    7 жыл бұрын

    +Nicholas Flamel the fact that some cultures don't believe in God and have 'better' morals doesn't make it better. there is no better religion than Christianity in terms of morals.. now whether we as Christians follow through is a different thing. many religions follow rules and conducts that keep them from committing "sin". but Christianity doesn't give you a list of do's and dont's so it looks more liberal but we have God's principles by which we live everyday. The fruits of the Spirit in a Christian life which he spoke about in this video is the highest form of morality against which there is no law. Also if you take your thinking on how animals operate and apply it to human beings what will you have.? people like Hitler shouldn't be frowned at. Besides you wouldn't call a lion immoral because the word moral doesn't apply to it in the first place, which was my point. On a final note its not Christians committing the crimes in US but people without God. God loves you.

    LivingmyTruth Blah Blah Blah.... You have ZERO evidence that your sadistic god even exists, and yet you think the bible is moral? The god in the bible commands or condones slavery, genocide, human sacrifice, rape of female war captives, and the murder of people of other cultures, homosexuals, and unfaithful wives. The god your bible describes is a monster.
