I know Sass personally...she is a big sweetheart with no ego...her voice is so strong in person it's hard to stand near her while she's singing because her voice is so powerful...

Saw Sass Jordan open up for Steve Perry on his solo tour in 1994 in Memphis, TN. Taylor Hawkins was on drums w/her at the time. She was PHENOMENAL!

This is a great song....bluesy, yet has an edge. Sass has a timeless voice.

She has so much energy- One life is not enough for her!

There's just no other voice like this.... unparalleled She and Sebastian Bach in his prime- a duet! The maturity of her voice at this time- probably better as time went on. Incredible!

I remember when I bought RATS. What an unbelievable album. I was hooked from day 1.

Apparently Eddie invited her to sessions after Dave left, and it was Sass who told him that her joining the band would have been a disaster for them... I guess in terms of female-following. ;-/ That said, I think Eddie and Alex should have pushed harder... Sass fronting Van Halen would have been interesting. They possibly could have have lost a few female votes, but they'd have gained male votes by the million !

Yes, they certainly would have ! Nonetheless, it would have proven very interesting in terms of what new tracks might have sounded like and of course all the hits they had with Dave. Would have loved to have seen it.

Oh man, I lost my one and only Sass CD years ago. She's the only woman who I can think of that has as much soul as Janice Joplin!! So glad I found her here ;)

Each Sass album is unique and different. I have the first three CDs plus a compilation album. It's essential for every CD collection!

l think l played this album so often it's litterally crumbling to dust!

Lucky enough to play in a band with a great female singer and we open with a great version of this song.

Phew! She's a powerful singer. Awesome! I saw this tour LIVE at the State Theatre in Kalamazoo, MI. I am forever a Sass fan! She came out in her most comfortable holey jeans, a tank top and barefoot (complete with toe jewelry just like the picture on the album). Rock on, Sass! I love ya!

Sass Jordan is on the list of people I wish I could meet once in my life. She knows what it's like to be alive because somewhere that music crawled out of the spaces when she must have been close to giving up - and busted out in the faces of those who put her down. The whole g__D--m album a a punch back in somebody's face, with a few songs that embody those cold, lonely nights in the dark when the strength was waning...right before she found the will and the strength to start fighting back.

So glad I have iTunes now. It would've saved me a lot of money over the past 20 years. I had to keep re-buying Sass Jordan CDs because my ex-girlfriends kept stealing them from me when they'd leave.

Sass is a truly amazing and impressive R&R vocalist and performer. She gives you everything that she has and can dish out 2nds if you're hungry for more. There isn't a stage large enough to contain her talent and power. Great support musicians also. 👍🏽

I remember seeing Sass at a small club in New York when she was promoting this disc. What an amazing show!

As a guitarist this would be a dream come true for me!

Can you imagine if Sass had taken over as the singer in Van Halen ? What a thought... the girl has more balls than Dave Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar combined. I'd never heard of her until last week (I'm in England, with just one year and ten miles separating us at birth). I can't believe that almost no one over here has heard of her... Just amazing.

I saw her rock it out at the club called the Reef back in the early 90's at a little town of Point Robert's. So much energy, incredible performance by the whole band, they were tight and great singing by Sass.

The good old Reef and the Breakers across the street before that. I don't think I had heard much of Sass back then. Absolutely adore her music now and saw her at Ambleside before covid.

oh yeah...I used to do her music back in the 90's and just hooked up with an awesome woman guitar player who mentioned Sass and I said OH YEAH!! so we are adding Sass to our show...Rock ON!!

Absolutely smoked this "old one". I've been a huge fan since the early 90s and I've not heard anything like her since. One of my favorite lyrics of hers was "I like your messed up face in your 67 case" ,but I can't remember which song it's in. I thought maybe "Ugly" but just listened to it and it's in that tune. Anyone remember that can help me out? My Sass CDs have been played literally to death and don't work anymore.

Incredibly powerful vocals, with just enough "rasp", and great dynamics to break it down soft and subtle. Great songwriting and performance.... I absolutely DIG rock chicks and Sass Jordan is one of, if not my favorite. And my opinion is that she out rocks Janis Joplin by a small margin.
