I would love hear her singing with VH. If there's any recording of it anywhere, it needs to see daylight!

I love her so much

I got turned on to Sass by a female DJ in New Hampshire when Racine came out ( I think I may have won it playing 'Rock Jeopardy'!)-all of us just fell over hearing that voice. I can't stand most Van Halen or Eddie especially. The guy made the most hideous noise playing Live 90% of the time but if you hear Starfleet Project or little snippets like 'Little Guitars' or lead on 'Mean Streets' you realize how good he could have been ( or was but just went commercial). Sammy on the other hand is just a great guy in everything he does except Chickenfoot somehow, and STILL has that voice at what 75? It's unbelievable. Sass if you ever read this you sound just as great now-your voice is a Miracle. Our whole family really loves you and I hope we get to see you some time. Sass is literally in a Class by herself. No one even close - You were too good for them Sass!!!

Since we never got Sass Halen, how about a cover of 1 or 2 VH tunes as a tribute?

Fun to imagine how different your life might have turned out if you were in the band. Maybe you'd be drowning in wealth...and unable to go to a grocery store to buy booze to feed your alcohol addiction. :) Point is: plusses and minuses, right? Seems that you've led a blessed life, regardless. Cheers!

You should check out Inga Rumpf. She fronted several of her own bands from the late 60's & 70's. She still rocks! This German lady brings the goods! She's the grande dame of rock in Germany. She fronted Atlantis & Frumpy.
