The Hovels models were painted and based by Dennis who owns the business, he only agreed to do it if I collected it as it was too big to ship. I’ve sadly lost the North Gate but I’m planning on replacing it if. I believe it is scaled for 20-25mm figures. Great video Ian 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Ooooops I had the video set to kids... Been a long time 😅

I use thin satin ribbon to hinge doors, seems to hold up well but you may need to add a covering to disguise the cloth (I use thick card for the door with a thin card on the ribbon side to hide it)

I note also on the Hovels model, there is another building where the balustrade wall meets the main complex, but not on the Sarrissa. Is this an easy fix ? Also what Balustrade wall would go with the Sarissa ( thats the one I have!) and is there a mat some one does as a base for the Sarissa, with the ornamental gardens on etc?

hey David yeah on the hovels model, what I think is the "Farmer's house" extends into the parterre garden a wee bit, i could add a wee extension on so the, still to be thought about, ballistrade butts up to it similar to the hovels one. As for a bespole mat for the sarrisa kit, im not too sure but i wouldnt think so..
