A RTC Diesel charter from Tempio Pausania to Palau Marina 59km or 37 miles 950mm gauge with SFS TIBB/Breda Bo-Bo 503 (1958).
The line from Sassari to Palau was completed in 1932 and closed to regular services from Nulvi to Palau in 1997 and then from Sassari to Nulvi in Feb 2015. The line became part of the Trenino Verde network for tourist trains and charters only. Currently however in 2024 the train only runs from Luras to Tempio Pausania 11km but there are plans for a Arzachena to Tempio Pausania service 45km.
The line drops 546 metres or 1791 feet from Tempio Pausania to Palau Marina.
