She asked me for a selfie and I said, ”I'd rather have the entire memory of this moment instead.” And I do. Loved her before then, but she's a pro and knew how to make me fall in love. Dammit. call me! lol.

She tried to run for President twice, and the GOP prepared for her to run two other times on top of that. It's the rules of the shame game. Change the politically correct word every few years then shame people for not being up-to-date. The prime example is that "coloured people" is now racist and the correct term is "people of colour". I'm still bemused by that. Shame is the method of ideologies to control people, mastered by religion and now used by various left leaning ideologies. The charge of racism assumes intent and most people who use the term Eskimo would not be meaning to offend. As other commenters note, it isn't even clear when to use Inuit.

555Phil S Steyne So if she's embarrassed? Lots of Hollywood people are embarrassed for not standing up earlier. This isn't about me agreeing with Sarah, or not. I'm not invested in her or anyone else I don't know. I know *of* her. The things I object to are straw man arguments like "cultural Marxist" and "PC." Wolfenstein was accused of being the "PC left" for being anti-Nazism. This is what I see as the big danger today. The nomalization of extremism. We saw it with torture. Dick Cheney appears in mainstream news media as if his views are not extreme. We are heading toward a world where the center is somewhere between Nazism and anti-Nazism. The makers of Wolfenstein could not even imagine that their game would be received as a political statement. They are anti-Nazism, but they could not imagine that that is a controversial position. Nazis used to be seen as easy, if not lazy, stereotypes for evil. Nobody took Nazis serious only a few years ago.

Not Crazy. And then anybody not on the left became literally Hitler in the discourse of the left, unsurprisingly this slur caused a backlash against all rhetoric connected to the left.

You can be funny, or you can be PC, but you cannot be both. Unfortunately, Silverman seems to have fully hopped on the PC bandwagon, and Bill has been really congenial towards the SJW-types lately. Not good.

She is neither funny nor that bright. But i guess be a Jew in show business and they will convince you that "you love them", "they are awesome". Typical. . .

I agree that throwing facts at people don’t change them. But a warm “hello” just doesn’t mean anything if it isn’t followed by some way of educating people about basic facts.

Wow Silverman just nails the truth!

The problem is that Karl Rove created a politics of anger and only anger in this country. He called the wedge issues which are all that the Republican party has anymore "anger points". Anyone who listens to these anger points and agrees with them gets permanently angry - and anger makes people crazy and incompetent. But the party loves it! And the left took longer to catch on, but by now they're equally insane - thus the King Tut rage. All of this anger will make America into a failed country. We're deep into this now, and well on our way to failing at everything and falling into the third world.

“Is Eskimo a racist word” our point is summed pretty much right there

"Right side of history", that phrase should not be considered an argument in any context, it's a moral argument, one that the any cultural force in any era could use, and all be just valid int the time it's used. "Right side of history" is hinting that when people look back on this in the future, it won't be something to be condemned, but that will based on actions, not intent. You do a bad thing, unless there's absolutely no other realistic visible option, it's condemnable, regardless of what the intent or cause behind it is.

Sarah you are doing it, you are showing love in a time when trumps hate is dividing us. Thank you wise woman for showing the United States that love, understanding, empathy, forgiveness, thoughtful speech is our ticket to a better society. And yes Sarah could be my girlfriend.
