So interesting to watch her early comedy. She hasn't quite perfected her persona here...that came (as far as I know) in 2007. The adorable voice she employed around that time really drove her material forward.

Born in ‘98 here. How come back in the day so many celebrities were allowed to be high as fuck on something during television talk shows? And when did everyone get so uptight? I feel like none of this would fly today. Older talk shows were so much more authentic and entertaining.

Myself, I am lean more towards libertarianism and with that don’t enjoy a political agenda that aims at controlling narratives. Left or right. Most comedians do that, they've been doing that forever. There's some exceptions that create new off the cuff material every time.
