Then I got her album the blessed unrest with the track I choose you which has got a reggae dancehall beat. .outside of Sara the other vocalist who ain’t getting enough limelight is Ali Mcquirk - slow burn album should have been a Grammy album with the stunning “ what have we done “

Her voice ain’t so soothing on her Once Upon Another Time EP - You feel the fresh heartbreak like it’s your own. She is so honest, which I think is her superpower. (Along with the amazing voice, amazing musicality…)

on top of being an incredible songwriter, sara's one of modern pop's most skilled vocalists, and i like this arrangement and her delivery even more here than in the studio version, though that's par for the course with her

Wow! I'm 75 years old and I haven't heard new music like this since the 70's. Did you girls spend time at Jerry Wexler's Muscle Shoals Studio in another life? Aretha would have wanted to sing this song. Since she's not around to tell you, I will: You got soul, girl! Fantastic!!

The album of this concert is incredible. Like with this song, the live arrangements and co-vocalists bring so much magic to her amazing repertoire - with almost all of Amidst The Chaos, and songs from all four of her studio albums. And I love seeing Sara groove with the band as Emily sings! A brilliant, sublime performance.
