Interesting review, thanks. Ive had PF twice and both times I recovered only after to switching to 'minimal' footwear such as Nike Free's or Vivo Barefoot. Wearing trainers with a lot of support seemed to prevent full recovery. Just my anecdotal 2 cents.

Those can be rough for more advanced PF cases as even light pulling on the attachment can trigger a flare up.

Can confirm, I enjoy walking barefoot, but because of my PF, I currently get less pain from walking around in chacos which have a really high arch. Nike frees and anything minimal makes my feet hurt like heck again Everytime

I’ve been wearing Xero shoes for 6 months and my feet still hurt. My PF still bothers me quite a bit.

I have chronic plantar fasciitis in my both the legs for last 3 years now. This happened because of intense badminton i used to play. I tried everything, costly comfortable shoes, arch supports, rehabilitation, exercises etc. Rehabilitation and exercises helped me but the problem is not going completely. I am quite ok in walking but can not stand at one place for more than a minute. At the level of 10, I still have pain level 4/10. Can you suggest something more? I did not run from last 3 years! Do you think Sapogi shoe will be good for me ?

Are these a stabilizer shoe for overpronation?

It does include an insert to support arches, but the main purpose is to reduce pulling on the plantar fascia temporarily via the rigidity of the sole, then progressively to increase it once you "crack" the bottom part of the shoe.

@Sam Visnic thank you for replying I have flat feet and plantar fasciitis so I'm looking for something that will help with everything but also look like a causal shoe. I don't know whether to address the overpronation or the plantar fasciitis overall.

@@thecuteysakura My clients definitely like the look of these shoes for work, so thats a plus. Both overpronation AND high arches are correlated to plantar fasciitis, so its difficult to tell if it needs to be "corrected" in the individual. Having an arch support can reduce the stretch on the fascia, which may be helpful and reduce flare ups, but regardless, calf stretching is super important for most of my clients. Then, progressively, when they are ready I layer in exercises. I have to custom tailor the protocol to the individual, because it appears there is no one-size-fits-all solution.
