My Grandma died because of cancer over a year and a half ago, and just 16 days later so did my grandpa in his sleep, I guess he just couldn't live without her. This song reminds me of them and the memories I made with them. I miss them so much. So to all of you out there, do spend time with your family and cherish every single second. You might think your just having fun, but your actually creating memories.

I have been listening to this song on repeat when I lay in bed at night. I lost my brother a couple years ago. I lost my dad just a few years before that. Something about this song brings me tears and reminisce all the memories of growing up. I miss them so much. My father never got to see what a success his fatherhood was as I just got out of colllege at the time he died. I went on to hustle and start a family and grind into a successful career with freedom to always be around my family - just like him. He was always proud but I know every day he’s looking down with astonishment at where I took everything. My brother was on the spectrum but high functioning. He was always laughing and loved having a nephew. He died right before my second son was born 2 years ago but would always be asking about when he would come into this world. I wish they were still here to experience these miracles. I really wish my father was here to meet his grand children.

One of those rare moment when I found and enjoying songs I found on short videos (normally I don't like any). The music box ver, and the original is also good.

My great grandfather passed away in February, my great grandmother will probably pass away soon too, because he was everything to her, and she's really old. It's so painful to slowly forget his voice, and just recently it just hit that I'm never gonna see him again. My favourite memories with him were when we went together to milk his goat, and he taught me how. Or when we once spent Easter with them and it was so beautiful. The woman who was kind of my "baptizing aunt" was also recently diagnosed with brain cancer, and to be honest, I don't think she'll make it because it's lethal. I don't want to go to her burial, she's still young, only 50ish. Man I miss them so much (I live in another country). But the fact that I couldn't go to my great grandfather's burial and that I was told about his passing 1-2 weeks later killed me.

This makes me think of the life I left behind. The house, the school, the friends. They’re not fully gone, we’ve rented it out for almost 3 years, but we might lose it. All of that because of a simple yes or no question which I find wild. I hope I get to see my friends again.

My grandfather died in a fire, and i been so miserable without him by my side. Going to my grandparents' house without him playing chess or cards just made everything empty, and it reminds me of this song. Rest in peace, grandad

I had a grampa to but he was barely there in my life but he was so kind and told me stories and he so giving but after a few day he died in his sleep I cried for days for how sudden it was and hearing this song makes remember all the other people that have died in my live and my grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and makes feel even worse when I know shell forget me I was crying writing this.

This brings bad memories back to me scars left on my body that I had forgot years ago only to be remembered by a song. These memories are strapped to me and follow me everywhere so I can’t leave them. A shadow of my past and reminders of that life isn’t always perfect.

I remember I was on the edge of life. Nothing was exciting anymore. Even though I'm still trying to get out of that depression phase, I want you to keep going. Don't give up. Think of how many people would miss you. God created you for a reason. He would not want you to leave. I know it's hard. For a lot of reasons too. Stress, regret, crimes, family, friends, anything. Don't let them stop you. You still have a lot of years to turn your life around. Stay strong good soilder and I'm very proud of you.

It's already been more than 2 years since my grandpa passed away. I still miss him every single day and I cherish all those memories with him. For being the eldest son in the family, I got all the love from him before his Alzheimers and Parkinsons. He gave me a hug just before the day he went into the skies. I miss you grandpa. I hope you're doing well up there. This song reminds me of him every single time and I cry knowing that I've been so damn lucky to have someone like him in my life ❤.

I work in a nursing home and I've assisted EMS with one of our residents, the kids of the elderly man called us a week later and ssid he died in hospital. Strange feeling to see someone the last time. My condolences for you and your family.

I'm Minh. I live in Vietnam. Back then, I had a grandmother who lived in Can Tho, Vietnam. I love her very much. Every year, I go to Can Tho, Vietnam to visit her. But, my grandmother passed away in 2018. After listening to that song, I felt sad again thinking about my grandmother. Huhu, I miss her so much.

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad 13 years ago. Some days you will go on and things will be great. But others you will remember not just him but the time you spent with him. I can't tell you it will be easy going forward. But what I will say is over time you will be able to handle your loss more & more stabler.
