Im teaching myself how to play guitar at 36 with no backround. Idk why something just spoke to me. I find that i can do the beginning of a lot of sonhs, but when it really gets into it i lose all sense of what i was doing.

Download an app on your phone called the amazing slow downer. It’ll take an mp3 and slow it down as low as you feel you need to. It really helps build muscle memory by learning it slow and slowly building up the speed as you get comfortable. Your muscle memory at that point will take over and you’ll be surprised what you can play.
