This is a really good kit. Worked well for me. The only thing that I would highlight is to really pay attention to your cut on the lower bracket. I mistakenly traced the entire bracket which made the hole too large. Trimming around the low voltage part of the bracket like they show in the video worked like a charm.

Great product. It saved me alot of time from doing electrical work. Not an easy install for a novice especially if there is insulation and fireblocks. And I was barely able to fit 3 hdmi cables through the low voltage port

Mine doesn’t have a power cable or the pull through cable on the grey box.

Can I install this kit in a lath and plaster wall? They are thicker than drywall.

Barely. Just did one. Might have to shave down the back of the lathe board down some.

Could I install two separate of these kits either side by side or above one another in order to get 4 plugs instead of just 2?

As long as you don’t daisy chain them and keep the cables away from each other. I would say so yeah
