Santa Pod Drift Day In The GT86 (With Pedal Cam)
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Another drift day at Santa Pod, and my first time drifting in grippy dry conditions for quite a while. Also finally got round to making a sketchy camera mount for filming the pedals, so hopefully that makes this a little more interesting.
Thanks to Matt from Rear Axle Divergence for the external shots in the rain (check out his channel here: / linkherozxdify )

Awesome to watch. The foot cam was really helpful 🤙🤙 can't wait to go to pod 👌
Foot cam works great! You where blessed with a half days worth of dry pod, very jealous.
Never fail to impress

DAT limiter noise. Love it. Sean's 350 sounds better in real life oddly. Doesn't come across as well in the vid.
Nice session, i really like the foot cam by the way.
Would love to see a normal track day on your channel again aswell. Loved those vids too. But anyways... great content, greetings from Germany

ArshiA Adhami was wondering if anyone noticed that too lol
Great footage as usual . Admire the progress you've made since you started doing this. Is there a way to contact you Chris , i have something for GT86 that you might be interested in .
Cool to see that Sean has a different style (required for?) with his car. Looking forward to see if you get the same style for your 350..! Also, does you GT68 not have airconditioning? You're all fogging up during the rain! Or do you deliberately shut it of during drifting? (Found the answer down below... nevermind!) Love the pedal cam! It gives a great new dimension to it. Please keep doing that!!

yeah I know what you mean about his style being different, and I'm quite curious if I'm the same when I drift the same car too. We will see :)
Where is the pedals cam
OMG WHAT IF THE KNEE AIRBAG WENT OFF?
Holy shit, that clutch gets used a lot! How often do you replace it? I always wondered how you drift, but after watching your video I got a better understanding. But that clutch gets abused!

Yeah in the dry I clutch kick it a bit, but it's an aftermarket ceramic clutch so it takes the abuse fairly well. I've only replaced it once, and that was about a year ago when we had the engine out anyway. It still had some life left in it then, but just figured I'd replace it while it was easy to get to.
Can you drive on the streets with these mods ?
should make 12:37 an intro clip or something for your vids lol
Just get a trailer to connect to the gt86 there is a turbo miata with one with a set of wheels and tiers tools and replacement parts

Yeah I think I'm gonna do that with the 350, get a tow bar installed and put all the tyres in a trailer. With the 86 it's not too bad cos I can just about squeeze 8 wheels in, but the 350 I'll barely fit 2 or 3 in

ChrisDrift hell yea
Does your AC not work? I ask as the windows seem to fog up quickly. Maybe just my opinion but i have to say i prefer the sound of the 350 more than the 86. Looking forward to what you will make of yours.

I would say how do you cope in the summer but we only get a couple weeks of hot weather. lol Out of curiosity was it the radiator, pump or some thing else.
@ChrisDrift

it was the condenser that sits in front of the radiator. I did actually eventually buy a new condenser and got ready to fit it but then found I was missing one of the pipes and it was on like 2 or 3 month back order to get a replacement one
Bruh have you ever seen A Automatic Pedal Drift Car?
Certain haters be like: Stop drifting Dady car 😂
Haha! looked like I nearly crashed into the toilets

I thought we were going to at the time!
I think it's time to change the color of the GT86. I mean why not right, the last time u crashed the GT86 the color was changed why not again??
no helmets?
@ChrisDrift
7 жыл бұрын
I was wearing one but then I left it outside when it rained so it was soaking wet inside. They don't force you to wear helmets at this track so I just left it off when I went out after that

@@lsismico-3242 thats a foot rest. It just looks like a pedal but its just the same material glued to the ground. Its solid. You just put your foot there to rest instead of on the clutch
