    Nice video! Like the donuts at the end. Massive white smoke! As you watch the vid further and further, you can see you are progressing and taking the corners better and better. Good job! A couple of more days and you will be a pro in no-time. :)

    To be fair, you did well. A lot of people stay off the big track until their second or third visit, but once you have the 2nd-3rd transition sorted the rest seems to fall into place. In regard to slowing down at the top, try and get it to the point of almost spinning and then use your brake for more angle as you slow down :)

    +AMBush Drift haha don't tempt me. Do you still drive yours on the road as well? If so, how do you find the angle kit affects fast road driving? Does it have any negative impact? As much as I love drift days, this thing spends most of its time being thrashed on the road

    if you don't have a 2way or some form of aftermarket get one made a world of difference in my z thanks to it I can link pod all day long now, also bucket seat and harness will help with transitions as you won't be thrown about so much.

    Good effort man,i did the same as you started at oulton wet slow n slippy to Mallory park full circuit drifting (rip Mallory)learning to drift in the dry is much harder,on the car and youre wallet haha

    Nice dude, wish I came to this, but they sold out. Good to see that your skidding in the dry, wet oulton park soaking wet wont teach you much, did well man!

  • @SpeedFreak0122
    @SpeedFreak01228 жыл бұрын

    That is so awesome! I can only manage to do 2nd gear skids in the rain because I've got wider Pilot sport 3's and also the of the lack of any boost of course. 3rd gear looks Scary AS FUCK. but you seem to be getting bloody good! well done!

  • @DedicationBlog

    @DedicationBlog

    8 жыл бұрын

    +SpeedFreak0122 yeah as soon as you put better tyres on it makes it so much harder to slide around, especially with stock power. Yeah 3rd gear was a bit sketchy haha feels like you're going too fast to just start drifting, but soon got used to it

    Despite being your 1st attempt @ Santa Pod, you looked like you had an epic time there lol Do you find your 86 quite predictable to control/drift with its Stage 4 turbo setup? I guess your car is pretty lightweight so it doesn't destroy its tyres as fast as others

  • @nealp885
    @nealp8858 жыл бұрын

    Don't the pilot supersports cost more then the primacy? Also what kind of exhaust setup do you have on the GT86? sounds nice.

  • @DedicationBlog

    @DedicationBlog

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Neal P yeah that's why I took off the supersports and put primacys on to shred those instead. Next time I'm just going to put really cheap budget tyres on though and see how they do. Exhaust is a 3 inch AVO exhaust, and it sounds nice cos of the unequal length headers
