Regardless of what happens in your videos man, I really enjoy them, both quality and length of content. Pretty cool to see how you're getting better and better at drifting too :D

Thanks man. I find it really hard to judge how long to make videos cos some people prefer longer videos but other people get bored of seeing the same kind of thing for that long. So it's nice to hear someone likes them just how they are lol

Yeah man I personally like listening to YT as much as I do watching, means I can work while still watching. Your talking segments are great for that, then I watch while you drift, do track driving etc.

Good idea, makes more financial sense. Plus love your vids and how honest and unpretentious you are. 👍

It might not solve the issue but it really helps with shifting... try a Torque Solutions gearbox mount, or Vibra Technics.

Nice skids! Still dissapointed about not crashing. We almost start forgetting Chris-crash! ;) Good luck getting the gearbox done. I hope you get the right one when you buy the second car!! Maybe you could also use the rear bumper of the second car.

damage on the front parts of the chassis look a bit worse than I first thought so its gonna be a while now. Once i've sorted the 350 gearbox out this week I'll start trying to make some progress on the 86

Here's something. Why don't you use the 2006 350z as your drift car. Swap the parts from your 2003 model, fix the gearbox then sell the car? That way, you'll have more power and a nicer interior lol :D Depends on how much work you want to do.

I did consider this but it would be a bit of a pain to move all the mods over to the other car and also the extra power wouldn't really be noticeable as its not much more. Also (copying my reply from another comment about the same thing) : my car has only done about 45K miles but the all of the 2006 ones with the stronger gearbox within 100 miles of me have done double that and aren't in great condition. If I had more time to shop around I'd buy a nice 2006 one and keep it yeah, but for now all I'm interested in is getting hold of the gearbox

Some nice skids there! Sad that the gearbox is rekt but wear on cars is 'natural' :D As for your transplantation plans, just get Sean and Bald Yoda and it *should* be an easy job. Cheers

Might be a silly question but why didn't you just buy the better facelift car with the better gearbox in the first place? Just wondering! Loving the videos mate. Do you know when we can expect John's review of the 86? :)

loads of different producers but a few off the top of my head would be camo & krooked, Netsky (his older stuff), high maintenance, arkasia, muffler, virtual riot, echo inada... but yeah loads more that I can't remember

Awesome! I loved Netsky's stuff when the Netsky album was released and a bit of 2. I think my favourites atm are Logistics, London Elek or Lenzman but I'll give a few of those a go!

If you're buying a newer model year 350Z, why not keep the new car & eventually move all the mods on the current 350 to the newer 350? Then sell the old one 🤔

not very soon, as I had a good look around it the other day and the chassis damage is a bit worse than I thought. Will post an update soon

Hey Chris. Awesome rollercoaster ride of a drift day. Kinda one of those "best of times😃 and worst of times😠" days. Sucks about the tranny, but with nice weather (no hail storms😜) and good friends, you managed quite well. I loved that footage when you shadowed Steve. You must have loads of confidence in yourself, the other guy, and the cars, which ain't easy... especially considering how sketchy those tires can get sometimes.😲 When the gearbox cooperated, some of those clips were badass and I'm sure it was a lot closer than the wide-angle camera shot would suggest. Great skids, bro!👊 Spoiler alert! I saw on Instagram where you found the other Z with the CD009, was it?, and now, seeing this video, it all adds up. Sounds like you've got loads of work to do, so hopefully you didn't waste your time reading all of this.😛 I wish you all the best and may all the bolts be rust-free. If not, that new impact gun should handle it.😂 Cheers!

Yeah it was a busy day yesterday but got the old gearbox off the donor car last night, and that impact gun did come in handy! The bolts on these cars are never rust free :( Oh yeah I forgot about the hail storm last time haha was nice to not have to endure that, although it wasn't so nice being sun burnt the next day. Fun times lol

im sure we can crash soon 😂

I did think about that but there's a few issues. Firstly none of the dealerships I've spoken to will order any parts for me cos its a JDM import, but even if I get a VIN from a UK car and pretend its mine I don't think they'll be able to get one to me very quickly as its not the kind of thing they keep in stock. But also it would be super expensive to buy a brand new one from them, if they even have brand new ones left anymore (considering it was 11 years ago that they made this gearbox for this gear)

It is more than likely different here in the US but you definitely can still get major parts from a dealer, i would try it first before buying a whole car. even if it 3k that would still be cheaper then a whole car and then it would be brand new! grab a vin off ebay or at a used car dealer. Z1 motorsports is selling them brand new for $1,800 and they ship international

HOW ABOUTTTT . Buy the new 350z. Take the gearbox out for your current car. Remove the engine and Don't sell it but build a forged turbo engine then do an engine swap on yours on completion ;) you're welcome
