You need to get a manual impact screw driver. You will never again strip Philips head fastners. They are $20 on Amazon. Best tool ever. Way way better than a battery operated impact. Once you use it to lose the first Phillips head fastener. You will never use anything else to do the job again. (Subject matter from last video)

I spent more on my 1999 blaster upgrading it than it costed brand new.. 😮.. I had it since new and it finally got all the love it desperately deserved. Went full hydro brake setup with yfz front end components.. didn’t touch the engine since it has always been a strong runner and never needed a rebuild. I passed it on to my 13 year old daughter. She learned how to ride manual this past summer and is loving her fresh machine!! Cool video series here Sabo. Always a good day when you drop a new one!! Hope you and your family have a merry Christmas! Cheers from Wisconsin!

Have to say that from the Uk, and not even particularly an ATV or Quad fan… but I’m seriously addicted to this channel… there’s a lot to be said about likeable people and presenters and although filmed in a home garage, this is one of the most polished and brilliantly put together shows on You Tube… great content out together by a passionate guy that really knows his stuff and makes everything he does incredibly interesting. Keep up the great work and looking forward to watching the progress of all the projects in 2023 🎉

For that bearing puller you gotta grind them. The fittings have like ramps to the lips, grind the ramps down so the lips are straight and taller, it’ll grab 100x better. The cheap Amazon sets are all ramped like that but if you get a good set from like OTC they’re ground/shaped the correct way.

I’d wet sand the plastics. I had a banshee that was all oem and the red plastics were white. I started at a lower grit and worked my way to a 2000/3000 grit. Then hit them with some cooking oil on a paper towel and let it sit in the heated garage till I was done with the rebuild. Bike came back like brand new and plastics were super clean and shiny . Didn’t even mess with the oem graphics

I used to detail cars for a living and oddly enough in the trunk of like 2010 - 2014 let's say but I know that's in the ballpark. But in the trunk of Chevy Malibu there is a little extension piece that goes with the jack or something idk but it's got the same thread pitch as that tool and those pads and it's like a nut on one end but it doesn't move and the other end is like all thread the right size and it works great for an extension for those tools or similar tools to do headlight restoration. I'll send you a picture of one they had two different lengths for some reason but I have both in my storage unit and I'll send u a picture next time I get by there and if I have an extra one I'll send it to you if you want it

Merry Christmas Sabo! Yes Sir another great video as always. Can't wait to see the Blaster finished and the pros and cons of the machine as you go. Have a 03-06 on my list to purchase and resto/build. I have always thought they would be fun and practical because they are small enough for kids/big enough for most others, air cooled so warm up is minimal, fairly light, simple and easy, aftermarket support, manual transmission, and most of all 2 stroke powered! ✌🤘

First off, Merry Christmas Mike, Pop, and the rest of your family who wasn't in your videos! I woulda been here sooner, but I had a ton of snow to do with my Dad, and my Gramps' owned since new 1988 Suzuki LT4WDJ! I've not heard of a parts washer rusting. My Dad's is probably 40 years old, or older, and it's still structurally sound as a pound. Ugh, diesel. I like a great many smells that others may not like, but that is one I don't. We use genuine Safety Clean. Smells ok when new, but starts to stink after a while. Works great though! I've seen some guys put that DT200 top end on Blaster bottom ends. I hate recessed needle bearings. Those swingarm bearing cover plates are 25 bucks a piece. Not cheap. I never understood the hate and desire to remove the oil injection on the Blaster. My Dad has been involved in this business for over 50 years, and he's seen 2 oil pump failures. I THINK one was a Blaster, and I KNOW one was a 2001 ZL Arctic Cat sled. Not bad odds. I think the reason the Blaster pumps fail, is because dirt gets in the oil when oil is added. A simple oil line filter would probably prevent most oil pump failures. The oil injected Polaris quads have in line filters, and I don't hear hate and desire to remove them. I'd KILL to have oil injection on my Zilla. And an AETC exhaust valve system, that the 1987 RM125 and 250 had. And a boron plated non sleeved cylinder like those RMs. And a Full Floater 3 like those RMs. And a better cylinder head design. And a better crank design. And aftermarket support. And about 15 years more of them being made. Am I asking too much? That headlight assembly as pictured would cost 138.90 plus tax from Yamaha. Something else I want. A billet RM465/500 clutch basket. It measures the speed with a magnetic brake disk bolt, and as it spins past the senor, the sensor picks it up. It returns the signal to the computer, and after you tell the computer your tire diameter, it computes the speed and displays it. I like how the Maier hood matches the stock one. That's one of my minor gripes about the Maier Zilla hood. But, I suppose it would look more OEM if the upper most lateral fins were cut out, and it was primed and painted grainy matte Champion Blue. I'm just glad they still make them. I'm gonna have to get one of those lil polishers. My Zilla plastic is indeed dull. Still plenty yellow, but dull. I genuinely doubt Pop called you an idiot.😆 See ya next time Mike!👍 Kyle T

For buffing polishing you 100% want a plug in or air one. Hobo freight has a bunch of cheap options. I use them on all my cars. Meguiars makes great compounds and polishes.
