If you don't have little ones, the paste still makes it easy and less messy. I haven't built one of these carts but harbor freight trailers are built with nuts and bolts, that's exactly what I did with my son, we poured outs all the hardware, put blue locktite on it and sorted them, it was a great first step in the project and it's a good first "wrenching" project with my son.

Worst tig weld is the one you didnt try. I was blessed to have my entire apprenticeship in tig doing stainless food and beverage equipment 29 years ago. MIG = Monkey Ignorant Gun. Any monkey can do it, and some do it well, but tig is an art.

You guys will love the arccaptain welder. I've been running mine since the beginning of the year on aluminum, SS, steel, and bronze filler and it is a very capable machine! Hint, you guys really need to get the foot pedal, the control it gives you makes the difference between mediocre and great looking welds especially on thin material!

Guy's the Diesel go-cart is an Awesome build & i Look forward to you guys adding a Turbo to the build !!! I Really think it would be an Amazing project because it would open up possibilities for folks like myself as I have several diesel small engines that I have acquired from auctions & trades over the past few years !! I build go cart's, buggy's, Side by sides etc..... & have been looking for a Tried/Tested & True setup for a Turbo Diesel small engine combo that's solid & not a "Break the Bank" investment !!!!! I Simply LOVE your Videos & how you guy's are able to include all of the content that makes my builds so much Easier as well as much more inexpensive !! PLEASE keep the builds coming as I watch Every Video you guys post atleast a half dozen times per video as a reference or to introduce friends & Family to your informative & just Downright Wholesome HILLARIOUS "Spot On" Builds !!!! Disabled the governor so the throttle links to the rack / element, what ever the governor is linked to so it can rev. They actually tolerate high rpm, you can watch video of people trying to blow them up with locked governors and no load! They often will just rev to 1-2000 rpm faster and stay there, rpm being limited by injection timing and volumetric efficiency like a petrol engine. If you could find another fuel pump from a 600-900cc engine with no governor, ( you need a bigger element)you could add boost/ air. Fitting a turbo to standard pump Will just make heat!
