Sandy Hook Animation

Source:sandyhookanalysis.blogspot.com...
I decided to switch gears and focus more on other shootings, because I didn't want to keep doing Columbine. However, I tried many new things out in this animation, such as voice over, a key, and the shell casings. Please, feel free to leave any suggestions. Please note that I will tolerate conspiracy theories unless it begins to be harassing, and I encourage discussion.

@I Waited 90 Days To Change My Name the old "active shooter protocol" was to do just that. Hid in a corner and hope the shooter can't get in. Maybe try and lock it or block it in some way but the protocol wasn't to escape. Nowadays though they say to try and escape as a first resort because you're fish in a barrel if you're huddled up in one corner like that. Terribly sad and horrible. I can't imagine what that last kid went through and is still going through to this day

@@Niallfap While yes, unfortunately a majority of them are white, that doesn't mean all of them are white. A few examples: One L. Goh: A Korean who committed the Oikos University shooting; on April 2, 2012, he shot and killed 7 people at his former University. Nikolas Cruz: A Hispanic who committed the Parkland School Shooting. He killed 17 former classmates on Valentine's Day, 2018. And we can't ever forget... Cho Seung-Hui: Another Korean who committed the Virginia Tech massacre. On April 16, 2007, he shot and killed 32 people. It's the second-deadliest school massacre in history, and the most deadly in recent years. (The deadliest was in 1927.) For comparison, the Columbine killers killed 13 people. Again, yes, although a majority are white (especially white males), we can't just push cases like these aside. It's disrespectful to the victims and their loved ones. Not to mention the countless ones in other countries committed by Asians, blacks, Indians, South Americans, Native Americans, etc. Also, although the amount of mass shootings in SCHOOLS is largely committed by whites, we can't forget about other massacres that don't occur in schools. Here are a few: DeWayne Antonia Craddock: An African-American who committed the Virginia Beach shooting. He killed 12-13 people (sources varied). Omar Mateen: An American-born man with Afghan parents who shot and killed 49 people in a gay nightclub on June 12, 2016. Aaron Alexis: An African-American man who killed 12 people in the Washington Navy Yard shooting. Once more, yes, I know that white people do cause a lot of shootings. However, we can't pin the blame on one race; we live in a fucked up world. Every gender, every race, every country, every... anything, really; has bad people in it. We cannot pretend that a race is immune to bad people doing bad things just because they are the minority. Sorry for the rant/extremely long comment, just wanted to prove my point.

Indeed, the classroom even had 2 exits from the looks of it, one leading to hallway and the other leading to the next room. Perhaps if there was another hallway or a different exit that doesn't need them to go to that single hallway, they wouldn't have been too scared to leave the classroom. If shootings are such a huge concern in US schools, then perhaps it would be worth designing the buildings so students and teachers can leave without encountering the shooter. Sure, it only really helps if there are more exits than there are shooters but it would still be an improvement

This is by far the worst school shooting, not because of the kill count but because the victims were mostly first graders. You have to be a special type of monster to go after defenseless children. Not sure what he expected, if it was fame or a cult like following he didn’t really get it. As sick as it is, the columbine shooters were famous and even romanticized by some people because they went after people their own age with a purpose in their eyes (get back at those that bullied them). What purpose did the sandy hook monster have for killing first graders? All anyone ever sees the sandy hook shooter as is a cowardly monster who went after the softest target he could think of.

This video proves that trying to hide is the single worst thing you can ever do. Do not ever try to hide. Run as fast as you can and as unpredictably as you can. It is very difficult for even an experienced shooter to hit a fast moving close target. Even a marine corps rifleman is going to have trouble landing a shot. Even if you are shot, you are more likely to survive if you are moving. There are two areas where if you are shot, you will die within seconds; the heart and the brain. Moving decreases the chances of a shot hitting those areas. Furthermore, since mass shooters by and large typically aren’t actually very experienced or skilled at marksmanship, moving around will significantly throw off their aim. DO NOT HIDE. If you are found by the gunman there is a 100% chance that YOU WILL DIE. If you run, even if you are in the direct line of fire, you have a good chance of making it out of there without a fatal wound. If you ever find yourself in this situation, and the teacher tells you to hide, tell them to shove it and start running toward the closest exit.

Neighborhood friend lived through this then again we only lived like 20min away from the whole ordeal quite tragic and she never spoke about it. A lot of administrators in my school knew people from sandy hook and a teacher of mine had her daughter work in sandy hook hopefully she survived but still crazy too think about this whole event thats slowly fading away from our memories.

The girl left in the bathroom survived by playing dead. She came out and told her mom 'Mommy, I'm OK, but all of my friends are dead' 💔

I thought this was weird at first but it actually can show how a shooter acts, where they’ll start, where kids are clustered making it dangerous. I feel like kids being clustered in a dark corner can save them if someone is running around so they don’t see them but it just makes it easier for students to die when they are found. It’s like when we had a bomb threat at school so they group everyone together in the gym. What if the threat was someone trying to see where we’d go and how we’d react then put a bomb in there for the next time?

That kid that survived in the bathroom…I can’t imagine what that kid saw. I came to this video morbidly curious, I’m leaving in tears and having to take my anxiety meds. I feel like I could throw up.

So just about half the deaths were from that bathroom. Horrific. Goes to show if you're ever in a mass shooting and have the opportunity you should run instead of hide

The one survivor in classroom eight was a 6 1/2-year-old girl ( in 2012 ) she Survive by playing dead and when she thought it was safe she run over the Bodies and out the school yelling. Help I’m Ok But All My Friends Are Dead And To Help Them. I wonder if she ever went back to school or she was homeschooled god bless her

I do have to wonder, why would you dislike this, even if it wasn’t realistic as heck, it still gave a good description, and even if you though it was funny, surely you would be disinterested in how horrible this sounds.
