After a personal experience with Rob Schneider, I have a feeling that it was a conscious decision to not include him. Long story short: He did a standup set in my city a few years back and was a complete asshole to everybody. He had an ego that rivaled Jerry Seinfeld’s during the height of his career. That isn’t a knock on Seinfeld btw, Jerry managed to go from standup to becoming a household name and create an iconic sitcom; Rob Schneider rode on the back of Sandler for years, had minor mainstream success in awful comedies during the early 2000s(Hot Chick tbh is the only one I can recall minus Deuce Biggalo) then tried to go the ‘sitcom about real comedians life’ ala Seinfeld/Curb Your Enthusiam, but Real Rob was garbage. It would have made complete sense to feature him saying “You can do it” during this bit, and with Schneider on a downswing lately it seems odd that he wouldn’t jump at the chance to be on SNL again. Even for a bit cameo. My guess is they thought of the idea, knew of his personality these days, and opted not to. I can’t stress how much of an asshole he was at the Improv back in 2016.

But if it's on there, I wonder if that's a reference to the Piper Laurie character in the original "Carrie" movie with Sissy Spacek. Piper Laurie looks like that and talks like that in the movie. Just saw something that he didn't make rehearsals and didn't know how to read the cue cards, so the whole jibbery-joo was him waiting out Sandler for his line, which wasn't his. Then Fallon got it. IDK. Fallon still sucks.

I think Melissa had the best impression out of all of them. I think everyone else just did a broad face value impression of Sandler characters while Melissa incorporated the stuttering and the ticks of the Waterboy.

What about Pete Davidson? His Sandler voice is accurate because that's Pete's actual voice when he doesn't sound so depressed and deadpan. Unless natural ability doesn't account for anything.

Pete's was the only funny one. The rest were trying so hard to do a stupid ass impersonation of him it wasn't funny. The Carl's one too but that's not a Sandler character

Melissa Villasenor is literally an impressions, genius. She's so good! I saw her on AGT once and now she's working on SNL, she deserves it!

Yeah holy hell. Say what you will about her, but damn, I started violently laughing to myself when she came on screen. ALSO sidebar.. but I've probably seen Happy Gilmore upwards of 30 times including TV showings (they didn't even censor it on CBC if I recall correctly) but I never picked up on Chubs wearing the Lacoste sweater until now.... wtf how could someone be so oblivious to a sight gag for so long... feels good when you see it though!
