Embracing traditions? Love of the game? Please. They were embracing House of Pain and showing a love of "Jump Around", just like people do at football games and parties and clubs and in their homes everywhere. (And I'm sure you could find plenty of folks who would say that, at the end of the day, the SJSU players were disrespecting the game.) This shows a bunch of kids on the field and in the stands having fun. Full stop.

I went to grad school there and the games were surreal. The stadium is so massive that I felt a little vertigo watching the games from higher seats and doing that dance/jumping. Haha, we'd always pre-game it (even if game was early morning in cold weather) in parking lot with drinking games and post game it at a bar close to stadium. Amazing times, people, and such a beautiful city (although just too cold to live there ekk!).

this is a great way to get today's youth to exercise a bit

Wisconsin sideline aren’t even joining in LOL. The opposing team are having a blast with the Wisconsin fans

I just checked out a couple of your sandstorms at the South Carolina games. You are right, it is pretty crazy and these are the two best in College football. And again, I agree Wisconsin wins.

I've seen SJS's stadium. So of course they would be excited in such a big environment. I would be too.

I was working PER MAR security. at 1:04, where the charter sign is, at the very top of that section, right corner. I remember this, i was jumping around. haha.

Well if you can't beat them...join them.

Whomever the SJSU coach trying to corral the excitement should have to coach at SJSU forever.

Because the student section on the north end of the stadium is where the action is at. The rest of the stadium does some meager fist pumping, but the students shake the entire stadium.
