I think San is one of the few artists who are so 'pure' and loving in what they do, not trying to go for the streams and radio plays. He is what you would call a real artist, in this 'fame oriented' industry. Props to him. My fav part was definately the last 15 minutes of the show.

My favourite part was San describing how he's been blessed with the opportunity of his music being the music for people's "moments" in their lives. Wether that be your first kiss, walking to school. Anything along those lines. You can just see how much it means to him because he's had so many of his own moments filled with other artist's music.

My favorite part was when San talked about how success is defined differently depending on who you are, and how we're always searching for that one thing, but you never now if you need something materialistic or if you're just looking for a state of mind. My favourite part is the reality that San Holo talks about, the music industry. The need to produce your own and not what the A&R prefers, the lyrical conversation of the podcast inspired me. It made me realise as a producer the need to keep searching my own sound because it is somewhere hidden inside me. The best part is the video. The beginning of this inspiring podcasts we as upcoming producers really needed that.

He loves making music so much that when he started playing the keyboard, he kept saying "I love" "I love" like he couldn't finish the sentence or say "I love THIS" LOL just because he found his THING. I think there is one of the most inspirational interview you had yet. When Sander was talking about how there is a wall, between the band and the DJ. I think it's important to realize that there are these man-made constructs. Walls built, by man limiting the way we perceive music and it doesn't need to exist. I really appreciate the fact that San explains music and MUSIC and not a genre. He likes the frequencies going into his ears, because that's what he likes. There are no specifics, there are no constructs. Just lovely sound. This inspired me to open my Ableton and really try to hard get something down that I like, something for myself to listen to and not built for others. Thanks San and Cymatics for this kick ass interview :)

It was awesome to hear San Holo speak about what he personally feels about his success and that he genuinely loves to make music out of his heart. I can totally understand what he means about not wanting to sell out and create radio-like music but he wants his music to have a deeper story in it with any other artist he collaborates with. You could definitely hear that in any track he's put out and San Holo has been in my playlist of music since I was fourteen (just turned nineteen last week). San Holo will forever be a name stuck in my head that reminds me of a great time in my life. Thank you Cymatics for such an amazing interview of one my idols!

I love how his philosophy is about living and letting other live their thing, do what makes you happy, what makes you thrill. It's so much true and I feel the same way about life, in every parts of live. I just started producing too and San gives me a lot of confidence, we all start somewhere, whether it's just fiddling on the guitar or copying the style of some of our favorite artists, just to find your own sound at some point. I think its human nature to always want and chase something, but once you get that "something" you get used to that success and want more. Its sad but true. 6:00 - 7:52 is my favourite moment because I really relate to it. Some of my friends in the ‘band’ side of music don’t appreciate my electronic music because they listen to rock and pop and they believe that making electronic music is all repetitive; “just clicking buttons,” they say. San made me understand that most people won’t like something until it’s popular. This video is really valuable and I hope you guys keep making the podcast because I’ve already learned so much just from one episode! 🙏
