It makes me really happy to see this bus left us here in the UK and didn't end up in a chop shop, and got safe, happy relocation to the USA. Gotta admit it looks so bloody odd having the US Center door on. I remember riding this actual bus here on British Soil.

Going out there in two weeks. I am retired and got tired of seeing this 'America is dead' mantra going on. So I started travelling and looking around. So far, what I've learned is ...'America.... is just fine'. And I fully expect to go to SF and confirm that. Too much negativity out there. America is still out there, and every place is different with great people and incredible cities, small towns and beautiful nature.

Confirmed. Back and the place is still amazing. Started off one day around noon took a cable car to the Ferry Bldg took a ferry to Sausalito, then ubered up to Muir Woods and bussed back then Uber across the GG back where we started, all in 6 or 7 hours. Solid eye candy all the way. The weather was perfect. So glad I went. Just as glorious as I remembered it from years ago.

So expensive so a year later moved to Oakland suburb. That's how I found out more about the Oakland Bay Bridge (+ the collapse with the earthquake). 11 years later, they got out of the area & are NE of Sacramento, kinda near Lake Tahoe, I think.

Now that I've retired and do mega traveling via cruises and hotels, I have totally taken California off my bucket list altogether due to the fact that the California government as well as citizens have let the beautiful tourist attraction of a state go to shit in a bucket with all this sanctuary crap/homeless tent city's/filth/crime/needles all over the streets and side walks.
