@@TaoOfTheFisteh schematics. I use lofi as a broader term myself. Because it really does predate the genre as a term, referring more to a sort of retro production quality. But among it there's s ton of subvarieties, from meaningwave to those Simpsons lofi videos that feel so perfect at 3am for some reason.
What a great show, visuals and soundtrack are unforgettable.
Very few anime reach the level that Champloo does. Amazing blend of styles. Great setting, art, music, characters, and overall vibe. Such quality, rarely achieved.

I know a lot of people say a lot of albums are their undeniable favorites. But this is going to be mine. Nujabes didn’t get to live long enough to fully come to worldwide glory. I’m glad he was able to place most of his energy here. Along with everyone else who worked on it.
Love all of them but Tsutchie/ Force of Nature tracks have a special place in my heart. Both Masta and Playlist are the vinyls I most play. Simply perfection.
Perfect anime with perfect soundtrack, same as Cowboy Bebop.
