Actually it's thought full , the reason is when you are sleeping 99 % time you just want to change the temperature or switch off or switch on . So by not giving you the backlight in the remote your battery life get increased by lot.

If you AC changes to room temperature instead of temperature in remote, follow the below Press and Hold horizontal swing button ( left and right ) in remote for 5 to 6 seconds to turn off the room temperature option

energy consumption only works on split models. if you have the multisplit (multiple indoor units connected to single outdoor unit) model, it doesn't work

Air flow is restricted when I put oscillator swing extreme downwards or extreme upwards. Full air flow is achieved only when i place the oscillator swing at 45 degrees. Please help by reply anyone.

When I turned off my samsung air conditioner(AR13TY9) , it wasn't turn off immediately . It counted number 1,2,3.... and my remote controll shows nothing. I need to press button to turn it on then turn it off to make it shutdown. What should I do to make it turn off as usual?
