The performance you get for relatively little money will make most people, who are not picky about every detail, very happy. Of course, you shouldn't compare it with high-end models, but it does its job very well. I'm very happy with it, especially because it's really bright. Gaming is superb and everything looks excellent to me. At the moment, I see no reason to pay a few thousand euros more just to have the best model. If you are looking for an affordable television with great quality, you should definitely take a look at the Q60C.

Yes, the Hisense has several advantages on paper and in the technical specifications, but the Samsung also has its own benefits. Ultimately, it depends on your preferences. The Samsung TV offers significantly better color accuracy and higher brightness, which is crucial for brighter rooms, such as living rooms. During the day, when you don't want to sit in the dark, the Samsung TV performs very well. Additionally, Samsung excels in user-friendliness and has developed superior algorithms. Their 4K upscaling algorithm is much better than Hisense's. Samsung provides better product support and more reliable updates over time, while Hisense, with less experience, is less certain to offer long-term updates. However, the Hisense performs better in darker rooms due to its local dimming feature, which provides better black tones and contrast, something the Samsung lacks. But, as mentioned, Samsung has better color accuracy, brightness, and superior algorithms. Hisense's technical specifications might be better in some areas, offering more features and newer components. Yet, Samsung excels in user-friendliness, with a more intuitive interface, while Hisense's menu can be confusing. As a newer and less established brand, Hisense's apps might not run as smoothly, and bug fixes could take longer compared to Samsung.

I would like to know…you say when a soundbar is placed in front of the screen ( with the stand in a raised position) the soundbar will not block the viewing screen from the bottom, BUT!…where are you placing the soundbar? Are you placing the soundbar right in front of the stand or on the actual stand itself? So if you are placing the soundbar on the stand, it is the left and right ends of the soundbar that are balancing the weight of the soundbar on the stand?

Please review the new Hisense U8N. It is interesting to see what improvements the TV has made over the previous model U8K. The U8N is said to be the brightest TV on the market and in combination with the very high contrast it comes very close to an OLED TV. The U8N could have the best price-performance ratio and could be a flagship killer 2024 compared to the expensive high-end LG and Samsung TVs.

This guy does not know what he is talking about, I own the 70 inch Q60C and it looks awesome, it has better contrast than the Q70C and Q80C, ok so is cheaper because it is 60 HZ and it does not have 2.1 hdmi, big deal, the movies look awesome, just look at the reviews from best buy, amazon, crutchfield etc. From 4.5 to 4.8 ratings. So are all these reviewers blind?

Their tests are scientific and done identically across all tv models, so the results are the results and opinions don’t play a factor. Anecdotal reviews like “I think it looks better” aren’t what Rtings does.

Nope, you're wrong. There are people (including me) that would take high native contrast and no local dimming over worse contrast and (often forced on) bad or mediocre local dimming implementation. Most of things that i watch are with subtitles, and bloom or lack of backlight uniformity around them is annoying AF.

This is why I'm interested in it. I need a display that can do double duty as a small TV and a computer monitor that doesn't break the bank and there's not a lot out there. OLEDs are expensive and burn in when used for computer-y things involving static images. IPS computer monitors have garbage contrast. This is basically it.

The TV is great. Idont know what you talking about. The TV is amazing I know people with this TV. All the TVs are too much money. You got crazy to buy a 3,000 to 6,000 dollar TV. When you compare to a 6,000 dollar TV you coming out on the top end for buying this TV. The 3,000 to 6,000 is better only if you edit content. Other than that you would be throwing money away because they come out with something new every year. Of you want a great reliable TV with great picture buy it. Don't listen to this guy he just making content. Even the Crystal 7000B is a great TV from samsung. It's best to wait into 3 to 4 years then buy the new TV now for a great reduced price. I'm running Crystal 7000B and all my friends upset they paid 3,000 extra for they TVs when my TV match's up close to they TV and they realized they got bamboozled 😂😂😂

When will Samsung realise that it's pretty pointless going forward without Dolby Vision. The market niche for Samsung 4k tvs isn't good, if you want people to invest then you're going to have to include the 12 bit colour gamut, this TV's review of it's HDR isn't great even, once you own an LG Oled TV, Samsung's are just a cheap attempt at producing a quality HDR output. Samsung' do phones well, LG' do tvs well and that about sums it up, hell my Phillips Hue 48' 4k TV with Dolby Vision is better than any of these new tvs that Samsung are putting out. It's time to call it a day Samsung, if people are going to invest into 4k I would never suggest a Samsung set up!
