@@guneetwadhwa9683 yeah. Right click on your mouse and go to display settings then scroll to the bottom and click advance display settings and there should be an option to change refresh rates. Hope this helps.

To remove scanlines make sure g sync is disabled and have game mode enabled with vrr control on. Next in nvidia control panel create a custom resolution to 2k 165hz. And update to 1603 firmware

Samsung monitors I was looking at had dis balanced color palette, leaning towards red, that was the reason I returned one.

hello. would you mind testing the "ultrawide game view" in apex legends? they removed stretch res from that game and one other game i play and i just hate that theyve done it. i hate shooting ant legs im sorry but if that setting brings stretched res back it'll be an automatic goal of mine to get this monitor. i'm also curious what those "game motion plus settings" do.

i have been waiting for this monitor and its not even launched in india while g70b already up for sale with discount.

Any issues with scanlines as with the previous versions?

Coincidentally... I could do with a new monitor. My old Acer GD 245 HQ is starting to have this weird issue where colors look glitched, trailing from light to dark areas.

I got this monitor on black friday And im happy with the monitor. Yes yes VA but the color and black colors are awesome My recomendacion for ghosting is reduce te contrast to 45 or 43

@@user-uz1hr5qe8r Здравствуйте, в днсе это мой отщыв единственый недавно был, я считаю лучше его модет быть только oled, так что к покупке однозначно, у этого монитора самый лучший черный, если не считать g8, но у g8 4к и смысл от его высокой герцовки, когда даже 4090 редко берет планку в 140фпс на ультра настройках в современных играх

@@user-uz1hr5qe8r мерцаний нет, только во время загрузочных экранов во время игр, но ели заметное, это баг gsync +vrr off если включить vrr то мерцаний нет, но страдает плавность

Is g7 worth the extra 100€? All the difference I can see in papers is the speakers and the extra G-sync, which these days isn't that much of a feature as most freesync monitors work fine with the latest rtx... Also, how is G5 compared to these two? I've heard that it has such a bad build quality that the monitor comes off the body, has anyone had this happened?

Anyone having the issue of faint white line of pixels moving down the screen every interval and in games like Valorant it has red and green lines

If you still have the issue, turning game mode off and then back on fixes it

It's a dog hit. I got mine 2 weeks ago and the red dot is not blinking anymore (on the bottom of the monitor) sometimes it blinks but the guide doesn't tell you how to put it back on

Only interesting feature of this monitor is 240hz but with Va panel, edge lighting, and mediocre hdr peformance this isnt really tht great, also, 2500:1 ratio for VA is bit low, if its true, ghosting still problem its quite expensive for what it has , more aimed towards XBoxS/PS5 gaming anyway cause of hub. its Successor of G7 but it has pretty same specifications.

Getting this monitor tomorrow for an early Birthday gift my birthday is July 19th I’ll be 33 years old on July 19th

Can we wall mount

I have this monitor, and I’ve noticed a horizontal line that randomly cascades down from top to bottom on occasions. Quite annoying as it’s only 1 month old. Unsure if there’s a setting that can fix the problem. Or I may need to return it under warranty

I have one from the g6 as well and I have the same thing happen to mine. I spoke with the seller and he said that it was a Samsung system that prevents damage to the equipment, but I was not convinced.

@@nightcliff5411 It’s really inconsistent. Sometimes a few times a week, sometimes not for weeks, sometimes back to back days haha. It is a quick easy fix that always work atleast

G6 or G7 for gaming PS5?

I can’t get the pc to come up. I have the DP plugged into both the monitor and PC. I go to the pc section on the monitor but it doesn’t recognize it. Do you also have the HDMI cable plugged into both too?

Make sure 120fps setting is set to automatic, the monitor won't show 120fps until your playing a game that supports 120fps for example warzone make sure you turn it on warzone settings too

You can’t use 240hz on a ps5. 120hz is the max

On my channel, I demonstrated how local dimming works on the Samsung Odyssey G6 monitor. Local dimming works terribly, much worse than on the old G7 2020.

Can i use it with Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch OLED?

You can use it with xbox and get max experience as it can hit qhd and 120fps with hdmi 2.1 cable and oled should also work

No it's good for the ps5 but it doesn't supports VRR on the ps5 but you can play at 1440p 120hz but it supports VRR on the Xbox for some reason

So is it good or what??!!!

I got it for only 300$, for this price there is nothing better

I spent $900 on my Samsung 32 1000r curve , beautiful panel beautiful colors.. horrible panel issues… INSANE banding , In certain dark, or orange areas…. So bad in fact that it effected all of their models.. and Samsung DID NOTHING… and won’t cover repairs to fix my dead pixels it also now has.. even those who got repairs for the insane banding said they received their panels back with the SAME issue… I’ve always loved Samsung and supported them and their beautiful products and I just can’t anymore… No software updates via usb fixed any of these issues.. I added every firmware update to the panel aswell .. nothing fixed it..

I read that on reddit also 1800R curvature panel is made on pretty poor build.

Samsung is rubbish nowadays. I am done with Samsung 📺 and 🖥 products. Cheers for the unboxing

Yea when I purchased this a week or so ago it was quite a bit cheaper, not sure why they increased the price so much.

Imagine buying or getting a monitor and not knowing how many local dimming zones it has, and being proud to repeat ten times, you have to be mentally destroyed at least.

Just got this one as a prize from @Cadbury so thanks cadbury for this beast and thans for the information brother and nice video❤
