CORRECTION!: There ARE more bristles along the inside edge of the metal frame. You can see them in this video. I was focused on the hinge and didn't see that Samsung added more bristles elsewhere. Nice Catch guys. I'll film them close up in the RAZR phone teardown.

Of course a phone isn't literally breaking the laws of physics, because that's just it...physics can't be broken. Otherwise...we would punch a hole into another reality. Everything Samsung said was true for the most part. This phone DOES have a thin glass that folds, just under a plastic protective layer. Which is shown in the video, and he sort of pretends he didn't see it (or kind of quickly moves past talking about it) in order to not admit how idiotic he was in the previous video for not exploring further. Therefore, the screen will remain in tact for the 200,000 folds Samsung specified, because now it has a stronger internal screen than the Galaxy Fold of last year. The bristles to keep out dirt and dust ARE inside on the edges, where outside objects would come in. They didn't lie about anything, there was just advertising enhancements of reality, which isn't any different from any other advertising ploy that's ever existed.

So Samsung actually used ultra thin glass(30µm=30micro meters(how thin the layer is)) but covering a glass layer with protective film(PET film) which is plastic. Supposing glass layer exposing it might be strong from scratches but when impacted hard it breaks(maybe they wanted to prevent that) And to add additional info, usual type of glass we use in phones are 500µm(=500micro meters) or more thicker. Now compare 500µm to 30µm, it should be called ultra ultra ultra thin glass. And that’s why it could be flexible enough to fold. Funny thing is the size of our hair is 50µm(=50micro meters)

Again, ... awesome! And OF COURSE Samsung should have been totally transparent in their marketing as should all manufacturer's, suppliers, etc be. I despise anything/anyone trying to pull the wool over my eyes - especially in trying to get my money. You're follower's are an enlightened bunch thanks to you, Jerry! Thank you Thank you Thank you!

Does anyone know what exactly the function of foldable phone’s “protective” plastic layer is? It DOES have folding glass AND bristles that he conveniently "missed" in both of his videos and he wrongly accused Samsung with his misinformation to millions of his viewers who are just eating it up. Influencer with this many followers should take his responsibility as a "reviewer" a little more seriously.

On the event Rebecca Hirst says that the ultra thin glass they used on the folding screen protects it from scratches. But there is a plastic layer on top of the glass that musn't be removed. Samsung lied to us.

I'm glad I watch your videos on new and upcoming phones. This phone will be on my don't buy list, especially with a price tag of 1800 Canadian.. I have a note 9 and im not overly careful with it, but it looks like its still going to be my phone for a while. Thanks Zack!

I just bought this phone today. Glad I came across this video, now I will be way more careful with it since it's not 100 percent glass like I originally thought.
