The 120Hz outside display certainly isn't a 'need', but its a very strong 'want'.

I have had mine almost a month and quite honestly. From day 1, I honestly never, ever notice the crease. I have smaller to medium female hands and rarely hit over it except when cleaning it. (By the way. i'm watching this to see if there's any new tricks or tips I don't know. I think the main reason I never noticed the crease un the first couple days. Is I was so busy setting it up. ) I love the phone but what I wish I knew then what I know now, get a case that protects the hinge. I've seen some painful pics of Z4s that have taken a hit to the hinge and it's not pretty. I'd already applied a protector to the flex screen so finding a case with hinge protection that doesn't have a built screen protectors took me w sleepless nights of scrolling. (There is one, one only and it's a clear case). I love most of the phone. 1 thing I don't, sadly. Even with Good luck and Multi star, Duolingo will not fully run from the widget screen. You can check stats, read a book, but that's about it. You have to open the fun to do lessons. Over all, I'm glad I purchased it.

Still way prefer the razr+. I sent my zflip 5 back. Yes the build quality is better with the flip but I personally think the Motorola looks better feels way better in hand and the cover screen software on the razr is superior to the zflips. When Moto designed this phone its quite apparent the whole phone was built around the cover screen functionality, while Samsungs half baked smartphone widget type cover display always is requiring me to open the phone still to do tasks that the Moto does seamlessly. At least they allowed the tech savvy to download goodlock. I like the razor's switch between apps in the recent apps view, How I can use multi factor authentication apps on the cover unlike the samsung, etc. Samsung beats the razr on several things but I can't see how anyone that has truly used both devices can honestly say the Sammys cover screen software is better than Motorolas. And to me that's what these two flip phones are about, the front display...Oh and by the way. Great video my friend.

If we’re speaking based solely on front cover screen functionality then for sure Motorola definitely has the advantage. In my personal opinion the overall phone experience in general (with good lock installed) makes Samsung the overall winner. Here’s the thing though, to me while yes Samsung is the winner, it’s not by a lot lol. Next year Samsung is going to have a problem if they don’t step it up. All my personal opinion though. I prefer the cameras on the Zflip5. Played with both and went with the Z flip. Rarely use the outer screen beyond the widgets. I agree, Samsung read the room of their users.

I have the same phone with 512 gb and I rate Samsung Galaxy Flip 5 a 10/10 rating because I love for what they are. They are no bad or meh stuff inside the phone or outside the phone, the phone is perfect for me as daily use as a real gentlemen. 🤩😍😇😁

Yer better camera 50 MP 3x zoom. Macro. Better internal camera. Bit bigger battery 🔋 1080p front display with 90hz and better internal screen they would have a ten out of ten ❤

The grease is much smaller and less noticeable and 120hrz more battery drain the moto razr plus has worse battery life. 2 screens with 120hrz plus refresh rate will eat the battery even faster keep that in mind. Really not needed for that tiny outside display. Isn't big enough that make a difference really and wasted I rather take the better battery life. One screen the important much bigger inside screen makes much more sense for 120hrz.

Yep I 100% agree that it makes more sense to have a 120hz inside rather than outside. Moto Razr definitely wins when it comes to having a higher refresh rate, but Samsung wins with having more common sense on where those refresh rates should be applied. I think 120 inside and 60hz outside was the right call for Samsung.

A non-folding Z-Flip 5 with the same 'average' camera, minus the 'outside' display, with a glass (instead of flexible plastic) 'inner' display, and with the light weight build and frame, thinness, and dimensions, would be a BIG WIN! ... IE: A true successor to the S20+ 5G :)

different phones in my opinion. z flip 5 has the latest chipset but s22 has s pen support and different features on it. hard to compare.
