Great video. Used it as a tutorial for installing TWRP on the Tab 3 8.0, of course with the appropriate 8.0-files from XDA. After watching your video, it was pretty easy to install, so let me say thanks for upload.

PLEASE HELP! I have android 4.2.2 on my Galaxy Tab 3 SM-T110 and after I flash CWM or TWRP recovery and try to go in recovery it goes to stock recovery "android system recovery 3e". What should I do? How could I root the phone?

I tried this, and it worked. I managed to root and uninstall most of the crapware that came pre installed on my SM T211. The only problem I noticed after doing this was some android.process.acore error when adding contacts. I haven't overclocked the device, and don't think I will. Thanks for this nice tutorial.

im trying to get the otg going, i have rooted and updated the binaries, and got 2 apps saying otg is enabled, but still no luck

thkz dude... theres alot ppl tampering with recovery files for samsung galaxy t210r tab 3. most dealing with the flickering screen i call it the screen of death lol.. good thing i had my receipt! so i just got a new 1 and your tutorial really helped me out into rooting my device and not dealing with the b.s. it easy as 1 to 3 lol. I strongly RECOMMEND THIS VIDEO TO ALL TAB 3 ROOTERS.

So far this has been the greatest guide I have ever seen to help me install root.

Nice very helpful! It took me 3 days to finish, I had to get my windows computer in the storage for this... :D And the hard time for me, I can't go through the TWRP menu, but I had to try just to get my Tab working as I intend to do, in the middle of baby sitting. :D Thanks!

You have to boot to recovery from the download screen. if it reboots it will restore the stock recovery. once you boot to twrp one time it will stick

Everything worked perfect for me up to 6:20. It reads "FAIL" instead of "RECOVERY" and in the message box it displayed, " FAIL! (Auth) All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)" after start. On my Tab 3 its showing "WRITE PROTECTION: ENABLE" which I think might be a problem, but I don't know how to disable that. Please help, thanks.

dude your awsome! i did a root method that made my screen flicker badly and i had a refund and got away with it! once i got my new tablet i tried your method and it worked thanks man really!!

Working. Hardest part was getting TWRP running as it didn't appear initially. Had to wait for my device to go into sleep mode and then hit power to wake it up. Also found that the TWRP UI sometimes didn't detect touches so had to tap widgets a few times.

hey just had a question about twrp download file. It isnt no longer on XDA they only have the android root for files to download. would love to have the program looks way better then clockworks had it for a wile just didnt like the look and feel of it thanks.

All those links for odin thats on the forum doesn't suppose for t217s where can I find it and I only saw one link on the first forum page it wasn't two.

I am new to this and am now very lost. I got everything to work up until you get to the Odin mode and have to install something from zip or whatever. I do not have the file, I do not know where to find the file, and when I thought that I got it it seems to have broken my new 16GB sd card. It doesn't say it exists when I plug it into the computer now... What do I do?

I followed the instructions to the T. Only hitch I found is after the Root zip file install, I rebooted to find the phone still isn't rooted. Root checker says Not rooted. Some other method?

Before you flash the recovery, UNTICK the Auto Reboot option in ODIN. Then flash the recovery. After flashing in done, reboot your device directly to recovery mode from download mode by pressing Vol up + Power + Home button together. Now you will see the TWRP recovery is booted in your device. Now you can reboot normally and your TWRP will be installed.

I have this very device. It proceeds flawlessly till the point where you need to boot into twrp. After I hold the three keys and let go of the power key on seeing the samsung logo, it remains there forever, even if I keep the volume up and power keys pressed.

I have the T217-A version of this tablet and this method did not work. What can I do?

Hi, I'm about to do all this, so I can uninstall all the bloatware and other unnecessary apps that came with my Samsung SM-T211. One thing I'd like to know, is once I've rooted my device and uninstalled all the apps I don't want, can I un-root it again, so I have it running without all the apps I uninstalled and all the rooting software?

on the xda forum link, the download, when i download the file for the android universal root, it doesnt contain the android universal root zip

All u do is do what he does, then reboot ur device after ur dont doing the backup, after that it will ask to install supus or something like that, clikc ok then it will reboot, then go to the apps and click on it, then you should install through twrp , then ur done

When it is on downloading do you need to wait for it to finish

NVM, i fixed it. It was wierd too.. i guess after the root process somehow my tab lost its time and date, as soon as corrected the time and date, google play started working again... wierd but as long as it works! Great video, thanks a bunch!

I need help please! I have done this twice second time I wipe the whole thing clean and every time I can't boot into twrp mode... It goes into the android recovery mode... I'm running the same model and version as you. Followed your directions to a T Please help!

love the video, very helpful, followed all the steps, recovery took a bit because dummy me was downloading the wrong recovery file, but recovery works, backed up, copied that zip like you said to tablet to root, installed it through twrp, and opened supersu when device loaded, supersu said it could not download the binary file and itd be a big problem and it closes, dunno if i did anything wrong or what, restoring then gonna try rooting again, redownloaded the rooter zip just incase, deleted the old one then install the fresh one. will keep ya updated if this works

hey , Can I re-Root my Tab ??? I left the AutoRestart box checked and plus my android has been having a few problems since I rooted it . Please help .... Ive configured all my widgets and everything to how I like it , i cant imagine have to redo it all , but please let me know what I can do .
