I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, the same one you used in your video. I followed all the steps carefully, but when it rebooted it got stuck on the Samsung logo area where it has the blue aura around it on the black screen? Has that happened to anyone else? so i answer my question im at the process were olivea taylor which i think she downloaded the update first 4.4.2 so im stuck at the samsung aura logo so the preroot md5 is not compatible for the 4.4.2 update so i had to redownload samsung tab ware again to get it working

Download kingo app on your computer its a one click root app it will find the correct firmware. For you also if you look at one of my other. Videos like rooting the galaxy mega you can find the link to kingo

Yes if you follow the instructions carefully don't jump ahead of the video i have only rooted a few items myself but I'm slowly gaining experience

Thanks Miss Naenae for the tutorial however my screen is displaying funny. It's shaky and discolored. What do I do? Odin said it passed but it did not update software after odin said reset.

I. Would suggest putting. It back to stock firmware then. Reporting when I get home I will send you the link to the stock firmware. You will do it the exact same same as you did when rooting

You may have bricked it maybe you missed a step all you need to go is go to sammobile.com sign up and search for the fireware for your tablet by entering the model number after it downloads flash it with Odin it's simple but the download will take over an hour but it should take you back to square one and it won't be rooted and it will be completely reset but it should in brick it

Power it off then press and hold the 3 button combination home, power, and Volume up l this should put it into recovery mode then Use the volume rocker to select clear Cache then reboot and you Should be ok

Ok make sure it's off the press the volume up home button and power button all at the same time hold it until the Samsung logo pops up then it will be in recovery mode then clear the cache and it should be able to restart

I would suggest returning it to stock firmware then go to sammobile.com create an account and then look for y I u firmware and flash it through Odin the same way you rooted it hope that helps
