I like the new flat screen design. I'm tired of the curve and not getting full screen protection on my s20 because of the curve. The flat screen is sleek and will provide better protection when adding a screen protector. I think its finally time for an upgrade.

That's what I'm on. Pre ordered the 24 ultra. Also, my charging port is jacked up. Cable doesn't secure tightly so a nudge it'll fall out and it doesn't do fast charging because of it, so I'm hoping when I send this thing in, Samsung still accepts it. Could really use that 200 dollar value lol

Haha I stopped getting crazy colors from Samsung when I have ordered them what they look like on picture or video always ends up different in person. I wanted the white or the purple one and I was worried that the white would end up being yellowish and the purple would be like dark blue. Plus does anybody really care about colors anymore since they live their life in a case😂

Most phones look the same now, especially from the front. Apple has even started to present iPhones face down when you open the box for that reason.

Pre Ordered the Plus. I feel like it was just the best bang for my buck for my needs. I'm currently using an S10 so this is a HUGE upgrade for me 😂 T Mobile is giving me $500 for my S10 and with the Memory Upgrade Promotion being offered by Samsung, this was a no Brainer for me 🙏

Same! I'm on the Note10. I use to upgrade every two years but with the subtle modifications made over the years, determined these two year upgrades weren't worth the cost. S24 series peaked my interest and like you, I pre-ordered the S24 plus. Looking forward to all the upgrades.

Just got one for my Dad. He's coming from a burned in screen S10+

I am not a fan of how they stopped giving quad HD screens on the base model. This stopped after the S10 which makes no sense to me.

OK. Major question here is can the live translate be used offline? That is, does it require internet to translate in real time? In the past I have had no Internet but had to communicate with someone that did not understand me.

Might consider upgrading from my note 20 ultra, don't care about the AI but the flat screen that will be more forgiving. I always crack my tempered glass protectors on the curved edges

Just curious, what made you consider an iPhone? I've had a hatred for iPhone when I got the very first one ever lol. LLMs running locally require 16GB. 8GB of RAM in 2024 is paltry for the base model.

I received my S24 Ultra 1 tb last week. night photos are simply amazing. Clarity is outstanding. The AI feature is amazing. I'm having fun scoping AI apps in the appstore. Crazy.

I would be willing to pay more(to an extent) for a model that would have the headphone Jack,the SD card slot,& the IR blaster again.

I think that remaster feature is the same as the one I've had on the s20 for a couple years.

I was approved for the samsung galaxy s24 ultra at boost mobile infinite, but the flip side, i have to pay $190.00, at first i was going to get the iPhone 15 pro max,but i am and android user for over 20 years

they got the hardware right but exynos for s24 and plus is a nono and the color options this year is disappointing

I'm glad the s24 plus got a good upgrade. I'm definitely gonna upgrade to it from my s22 ultra. The pen and zoom weren't worth it for me

It will be supported as a software-based AI and subscription-based after 2025 for the S23 and previous models. For the S24 and later models, it will be built-in and free.

I definitely don't like the square frame of the Ultra. I wish they'd offer a lower cost option without a selfie camera for people like me who NEVER take selfies.

The worst thing about Samsung phones is the software and often build quality.

Be Aware in the fine print Samsung states that their AI is free UNTIL 2025. After 2025 it is not free and is available by subscription.

I'm currently running my S22Ultra. I love this device. I had no need to upgrade Until about a month ago. With one single update, my battery life was totally compromised! I'm a truck driver. I use my device constantly. I went from a full days use to charging my phone 3 times a day. I feel disgusted. I feel attacked. I feel targeted. I've made every recommended adjustment, and it has made zero difference in my lessened battery life. And of course, now the ads for the S24Ultra hit hard. Disgusting!!!

One thing i hate about samsung it's that they always give the s ultra the best treatment every year Vs the Z Fold.⚠️ It's time samsung starts treatment the Galaxy Fold like a Flagship also, my galaxy fold 5 It's missing all of the BEST FEATURES that the s ultra has for example the camera, i love all of the features of the ultra and i really wish my gold has the same features because there is Absolutely no REASON for Us to Buy a galaxy s ultra Only for the camera When The GALAXY FOLD 5 SUPPOSED TO BE THE ULTIMATE GAME CHANGER WITH IT'S BEEN SCREEN , INSTEAD OF CARRYING A TABLET A PROFESSIONAL CAMERA, A LAPTOP. So a pricier Ultra with no qi2, no Dolby vision, no 16gb RAM, old ultrasonic fingerprint reader, slow 'fast charging' and -probably- no new BT audio códecs. And still those horrible, sharp corners! But hey, it has ✨ AI ✨ 😒 Maybe next year, Samsung

About time they stopped the annoyingly curved display. Still very disappointed for being in the year 2024 they aren't putting the front camera under the display hidden. Also disappointed they aren't putting the 144 refresh rate. Samsung continues to lack and fall behind instead of advancing.

💥💥 I'm good with my S23 ultra and my regular S23. These S24 is not that big of a upgrade from the S23. I probably won't think about upgrading until they change the design or add a 6,000mah battery I do like the flat screen.

Not worth the price hike

Great videos but unfortunately, the features are only important when the phone works.... I had one of the original Notes. Unfortunately, after my experience with the Samsung Ultra S23, I am not interested in buying their products. It is not just that the phone failed to turn on within a few months, it is how they treat their customers when there is a problem with their product. I was unable to reach anyone, there website cycles back to non-functioning links on the Canadian site. Now the camera is not working and I have troubleshooted all I can do including a full reset. Hours in dealing with all these problems. And being without a phone again, for weeks? This should be a refund/replace situation. Where else can you pay almost $2000 for a product and there is as little responsiveness as this??

Ugh, i love my s23ultra and none of the features of the s24ultra are interesting EXCEPT THAT FLAT SCREEN! its about time they get rid of stupid curved screens.
