I think there is a lot of value that is brought by Samsung through their Ecosystem which people like to dismiss for very shallow reasons, if I want an Apple like Ecosystem experience while not wanting it to be as restrictive and have much more features and customization, that's what Samsung is and why I like their approach and I hope they keep polishing these features to make it more seamless and cohesive. I'm sticking with Samsung for the foreseeable future unless some other brand can come up with such a rich Ecosystem and not be Apple.

@PSYCHOV3N0M yes it does performance wise in emulation gaming its in a league of its own because of my Red magic I got 60 to 70 fps on Mario oddyseey and beat it in 3 days when my s23 Ultra would delay that game like crazy. For gaming I highly recommend the red magic 8s pro and 9 pro. But for everything else software wise I recommend the s23 ultra and s24 ultra and fold 6

Apple users that put down Samsung have not used their eco system. I traded all my apple toys(m2 iPad pro, iPhone 12 pro max, pencil, ear buds) for Samsungs superior eco. S22 Ultra, Tab S8 Ultra, Book 2 360, ear buds pro, 43" Qled TV as well as another 43" and 64" Samsung. I've used both eco systems and Samsung doesn't stop, talk about inter-connectivity. So being formerly Apple, I have a right to say which is better.... Apple products are toys mostly good for children that break things to easily. Leave the real electronics to the adults.😉

First of all, I completely agree with your assessment about Apple users that haven’t tried the Samsung ecosystem. The truth is, everyone has specific needs. I use both. I do recommend the Apple system over the Samsung system to people that aren’t exactly tech savvy. Not meant to be a dig. They each have their advantages and strengths. I work tech and I try to take the knowledge and information of the user into account when I make recommendations. There is just a little higher learning curve with Samsung. I have some friends that still have trouble with their Samsung stove, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator all working together. By the same token you need your damned plugs for the Apple system to work. The internet of things is still in its infancy. I’m looking forward to seeing how all systems can rise to the challenge of taking into account the folks that just want it to work.

So… Yes and no. I too have been a long time Apple user and recently switched to the s24 Ultra/B2Pro. The B2Pro have way, and I mean way better sound, however, the battery life, transparency, and active noise cancellation are all not as good as the AirPods Pro 2. Also, my iPhone 13 Pro Max’s battery lasted for two days whereas the s24 Ultra needs to be charged every day. I know that these battery differences can be tweaked because certain updates have been better than the current iteration. Also, Apple has locked down the passwords and you are required to have a Mac in order to access them… It was a painful switch to say the least but I do love the s24 ultra.

It’s definitely a different approach to Apple. I don’t say it’s overall better but I would say it is different. It’s very similar to how android and Apple approach things. The thing that makes Samsung ecosystem is just the amount of actual stuff that is available in addition to computer and tablets and phones and AirPods that kind of stuff Also has appliances and televisions and what not however that is where it really is different. You have smart things available. I’m pretty much everything with Samsung versus not quite anywhere near as much Apple however, the integration with Apple is still far more superior things like being able to put my AirPods in with my Apple TV and have automatically connect or I can start an email and one device and pick up on the other whenever I back up from the cloud or take a picture or video whatever I’m doing it’s on all my other devices, listening to music in the car then getting home and being able just to tap my phone into one of my AirPods and pick it up right there etc. etc. it’s far more integrated, so does have some integration but it’s nowhere near as good but they have so many devices so it’s Even doubt depending on what you’re approach is if you just want share number of overall gadgets and things that are interconnected Samsung is the way to go, but overall just integration for the average portable devices a.k.a. phone TV tablet, computer watch and that kind of stuff then Apple is far away more integrated people need to remember that this year quantity of stuff doesn’t make something better when it comes to an ecosystem. It also has to be extremely well polished and optimized and something has a lot of features. It just doesn’t quite have that standard of polish to it. I’ll be incredible range of all the different devices that have televisions, computer monitors, etc..

  • @deepin2u

Sorry but your 'integration claim' with Apple is weak! iOS 14/15.1 or lower (last I've tried) iPhone 13 mini or iPhone 14/15 Pro. 1 using Apple TV 4 or even 4HD, Apple Wireless Keyboard 2 Apple Magic Mouse 2 or GTrackPade 2 (space Grey) Now try to edit a document via Safari for Microsoft 365 or even Pages. Try moving that mouse pointer around see how SLOW & abyssmal that experience is! NO try editing your resume in MS Word for iOS LMAO! Its horrendous! Now lets see how well you do browsing the REAL web via Safari or any other browser outside of the EU - they all use Safari's engine and restrictions! the FACT to project to an external screen for iOS is STILL just a PHONE is attrocious! If you want the iPhone screen via AppleTV to be in landscape - which 99.9% of the time anyone would want you NEED to enable rotation and physically TURN the phone into landscape!!! what kind of nonsense IS that! Oh and you Can ONLY use iOS on external screen IF you have AppleTV! Oh enabled Apple's enhanced encryption on device and pray you do NOT forget your device lock password because their help during the process to add a contact that has iOS guess what will NEVER get teh prompt o assit you to unlock WHEN YOU DESPARATELY NEED IT! Those are HUGE glaring issues - then there was iOS 17.1 deleted photos coming back! that can get people into some HUGE trouble!! Reminds me of Craig F and team on macOS just before Big Sur having tghe default SUDO password to a common NEWB Error BLANK!!!Craig spent FAR TOO much time playing cutsey fro fans during recorded presentations - ridiculous for a professional with egregious issues like that. Lets not forget his famouse insult 9 yrs ago with NFC contact bumping on android ONLY to circle back saying a SLOWER UI that UNDOES a MUCH more EFFICIENT bluetooth sharing method is better than before!???? Sorry that is NOT better or seamless that's garbage.

Not that I need to explain myself to anyone, but I used Apple in the thumbnail because the common discourse is that Apple has a better ecosystem than Samsung. The whole video idea came from my frustration about the conversation and narrative that Samsung's ecosystem is inferior, when, in MY opinion thats incorrect. So on MY channel, I shared MY opinion and used thumbnail to back up MY thoughts.

The ONLY thing you mentioned that Apple doesn’t do is Dex (and you also need an AppleTV in order to connect to your tv instead of doing it directly (which makes it more secure), but Sidecar, Handoff and Continuity, among other features, while not being an actual computer replacement system, are able to expand your computer in useful ways - and Apple did these FIRST! I’d rather pick an ecosystem that works seamlessly and has security as a primary focus - but maybe that’s just me. Yes, the cost of entry for Apple is higher, but the benefits for me are definitely worth it.

All good and well but the ecosystem is broken now in Australia as Samsung don’t sell computers here now. So Samsung notes is useless now as it only works seamlessly on 2 of 3 types of devices. Samsung doing what everyone else blames Apple for and having a walled garden with apps that only work on Samsung devices. I use Facebook for a lot of personal and hobby work all the time and it’s useless on my Tab S9. Won’t work in landscape without being ugly and formatted that you can’t see everything properly. Same thing with X, Instagram and so many other apps that don’t work natively in landscape and are horrible when forced to landscape. And what about when I need to check the battery level on my Galaxy Buds, I have to go get them and open the case so they connect to one of my devices to see the battery level. So the ecosystem might be better on paper but there are huge flaws that cause so many to not want to use it. It shouldn’t be this hard in 2024. They’re charging more $$ than anybody else for some devices, they need to make sure it works for the cost they charge.

It's ignoring the fact that a lot of the BS Samsung is doing is rebranded/worse versions of generic features available for any combination of device X and device Y. They're trying to be Apple in a landscape that by design is open to the point that the idea of an eco system is kinda moronic. Having legitimate reasons to use X over Y is fine, and we're even on the same side, but this is blind fanboyism that just makes no sense.

Landscape being open to the point of ecosystem being moronic is something I'll have to disagree VERY hard, Samsung has solutions to having a seamless and convenient work flow outside what vanilla android can do, for example SmartTags were something Samsung had to develop themselves with their SmartThings app cz Google took ages to develop a Find My network like Apple's. Samsung has had Offline Finding with SmartThings and Galaxy devices network for at least 3 years now, Google is only rolling that out right now. Samsung is the only proper alternative to Apple if you want similar ecosystem features that you just cannot get using a Vanilla Android phone because most of the other manufacturers don't have the resources or don't even try to take the Android experience to the next level. No other company integrates TV, Washing machine, Fridge, Windows laptops, Android devices and much more in such a cohesive way, that's not fanboying that's just facts.

And Samsung also makes TV, Monitor, Washing machine so much more, if they can build an ecosystem on top of Android to make then seamlessly work with those products what is so moronic about that? How's that BS? They are also providing additional interconnectedness with Windows with their Galaxy Book which of course vanilla Android cannot do to that level cz Google and Microsoft aren't the most collaborative

Samsung doesn't have a DESKTOP OS. they can not be better than apple for that reason alone. iCloud makes everything sync from desktop, laptop, mobile and watches. Samsung is missing the desktop OS and do not call DEX a desktop OS, you can not install real programs on it. Samsung also has bixby that will never go away no matter how much you try. Samsung devices also have 2 apps stores and has duplicate apps that you can't delete because they are part of ONEUI. You still can't send a 14 second video to another device without it looking like complete garbage. I could go on, but there is no point. But also, Samsung TV's, fridges and any device part of the smartthings network. DeX is an extension of your phone that is part of the phones operating system and is absolutely part of the ecosystem. Those "duplicate apps" are a strength because it gives consumers choice and often offer more functionality and integration than Google offerings for within Samsung products. And you absolutely can send a 14 second clip to other people, it's called quick share, which allows you to send a qr code/link to someone with the full quality of video. I have Samsung tab s8 plus, S23ultra. Samsung is lacking comprehensive integration between phone and tablet. Oppo vivo offer way better phone and tablet integration on productivity stuff. Samsung's multi window implementation is not intuitive. I had Lenovo p12 before and it's much easier to use. In gestures on multi windows. The only reason I'm still using Samsung is i don't trust any brands coming out of China for personal data privacy. The same goes for Google. For video editing, ipad with M2 i believe blows 8gen2 out of the water. So what I'm saying is depending on what you're doing, professionally and personally, that determines what you get, not everyone has all kinds of smart things around the house. Until one ui 6.1. one ui sucked. Performance and bugs in one ui. Quick share didn't work a lot of times. It irritates the heck out if me. I'll only stay with Samsung mobile phone because of the S pen. As for tablet. When i have more $$$, I'll switch to Vivo pad 3 in a second. Freeform on the ipad os is the best of the breed. Samsung has nothing to compete against that. Even realme has much better intuitive implementation and design of android gestures than Samsung. Because i was using realme mobile phone for a no. Of years before switching to Samsung because of guaranteed future android updates. Different strokes for different folks. What works for you doesn't mean it'll work for others. All systems have their strength and weaknesses. So the best is to look at your requirements and choose the digital products that meet your expectations and requirements. Of course we can't ignore the costs associated with all the gadgets. I wanted rode wireless me but i can't afford it right now. So i opt for Samsung buds fe and boya by pm700g usb type c podcast microphone instead. If money is no object, if course we can go all out and get the high-end stuff. But in reality, not everyone has a lot of cash around to buy the latest and the greatest. Buy what you need and not what you want . Cheers
