I just got the a54 and I love it it works well with heavy games I play on it from someone who use to have a s20 it had a more premium feel to it than the s20 and it worked faster in my opinion only thing it didn't to better than the s20 was camera and display but other than that I still recommend it and it's affordable perfect for kids too

Narrow display of a53 is horrible for social media cause the content will be cropped from the sides. A54 is better for that by having a wider display. For watching movies, yes! A53 is better.

@aminmohammadids I ended up getting the a54 and from what I see the number one thing that's better is the battery life and the screen brightness is brighter than the a53

@@mrnailman1 is it laggy in anyway? Because so far i'm not really digging the A53 anymore. Honestly its better to just spend more on the base model flagship. Only downfall is no expendable memory. They need to make an ultimate mid range with no lag. Lag should be a thing of the past.

I am currently using Samsung A53 and there are no lags here.

While gaming there's sometimes issue particularly when you want to aim at some point. For example you move towards left you will face issue coming towards right

Mines horrible. Camera sometimes takes 3-5 seconds to load!

Coming from a samsung A12 to the A54 I love how small it is Would love to get the regular S series next time

If you can get the A54 on a deal yes is worth the upgrade. Not worth the upgrade for full retail $500 price.

At first i wanted to get rid of the A53 because i hated the lag especially from being an S series user since 2019. But honestly I think that downloading the updates has made it bearable. And keeping 120hz on for that smooth scrolling

Did you turn off the screen animations/delay? I went from S20 to a53 because of a mechanical fault and found no difference

I wish I would have waited a53 isn't bright enough but I prefer the plastic back not slippery and gets less hot than glass so 🤷 also a53 has smaller bezzels on the sides

Purchased february without knowing the 54 was due. Users on average will be perfectly fine with my #a53 Plan to hold for 3 years unlike 6 for the last celly.

That's in samsung themes hold the screen down till you see a paintbrush icon and some others select theme and choose your desired theme download and apply

I'm on an A53 and it isn't the good device that I thought it was. It lagged HORRIBLY on an overseas trip to Japan and I had to restart the phone several times on several days. That and all the android bugs made me seriously contemplate switching back to an iPhone.
