@@theymon that's probably why they discontinued this size also. It's just not practical with the island and that's the direction they were heading in with all of their phones.

Best phone ever. Its simple....if you have an iPad.... iPad is the best choice to watch Videos, Browse web, Read and make Video calls, Games..... Hand down the Best tool Then just keep a smaller phone for communication and social contact outside home. Knowing that the iPhone mini screen is Larger than iPhone 8 and almost as big as iPhone 8 Plus.

I've been using IP 13 Mini for almost 2 years... and I loooove it‼️

@@habibkoko251 Absolutely. Bought one in July 2022, light-to-medium user, still have 92% battery. The only times I need to recharge during the day is when shooting a lot of photos on vacation or playing video games (rarely). I love the Mini and am so sad they canceled it.

The 13 series was a solid lineup, very dependable. I had a mini and a max and loved the form factors on both sizes. If I didn’t have eye problems, I would have stayed with the mini. I loved it! The 60 hertz is perfect for the mini model, it compliments its form factor.

A mini review always brings positive responses from the general public . Wonder what will it take for Apple to bring this back ?

I’ve also got the iPhone 13 mini and honestly it’s my favourite phone I’ve ever owned, it’s got everything I want in a phone, such a shame we will never get a new one 😢 hanging onto mine as long as I can, also the battery life isn’t the best but I have the mag safe charger so it’s no problem! My absolutely love the iphone 13 mini. Ive had it since the release and have no plans to upgrade. I am also actually fine with the battery life but i am not a heavy user.

I’ve been using a 13 mini since it was released. It’s the perfect size phone in my opinion and it does everything I need it to do. The 13 mini is also very affordable so I’d say it’s one of the best value phones available today.

I'm about to switch from an S21 ultra to this. Can't wait to get my green 13 mini in the mail soon, supposedly brand new from ebay. I ordered brand new because I want a fresh battery so hopefully it truly is brand new 😅. Having a big phone is overrated, can't wait to have something I can actually carry around with ease

I love the 13 mini and would like to buy a mini Pro someday. They really should put out a mini Pro phone with some higher end features for people who don't like to carry a movie screen in their pocket and would like something smaller that still packs a punch feature-wise.

I just purchased the 13 mini 512gb model on sale on Walmart Canada sire for $499!! Just over $800 off the price here in Canada! I could not refuse, and can't wait to go back to a smaller form factor! Oh also this was not a refurb model either, but brand new in the box!

Battery life was great at the beginning for my iPhone 13 mini, I have tried getting my 87% battery replaced and have given up because Best Buy won't replace it until 79% or lower, and Apple Store I have waiting for 20-30 minutes without even being able to speak with someone (have tried several times). I don't want an after market battery because they have been hit or miss but I may have to soon.

If Apple never makes another mini, I'm just going to switch to the Watch. Buy the cheapest used iPhone that's compatible and leave it in a drawer for config and updating. Some of us don't live on our phones. Carrying one around is a nuisance, not a convenience. I don't need to carry something the size of an iPad mini for the hour a month I use it.

I have this model and I love the size and features! I also use a 13" MacBook Pro so I dont want a large phone!! So sad that Apple has dropped the 13mini! Mine is green.

I agree.. a 90hz screen and a usb c and it would be perfect in 2024. I've had mine for 2.5 years and it's been fantastic.. I had the battery replaced for $100 when it hit 83 percent health a year ago. It's gonna suck to have to eventually go to a larger phone .. hopefully they release a new version at some point.

I have the 13mini (blue) and I love it. I upgraded from the 12 mini to a 13 pro but the phone was annoyingly big so got the 13mini. I’ve not looked back and intend to keep this for quite some years. I love how the battery pack fits perfectly on the mini and the hive wallet (stronger battery to the Apple wallet). Everything on the mini just looks perfect and fits like a glove.

I am gonna sell my pro and buy 13 mini

I've been daily driving this phone for a month, and I really like it. Nice, compact size while still having a big enough screen for media consumption. Very lightweight and easy to use one-handed. Also performs really well for being an older phone. 60hz ain't bad either given how smooth iOS is. And the battery life is honestly pretty good given how small the capacity of the battery is. I genuinely don't know what people are doing on their phones that makes 4-5 hours of screen time on a full charge not enough for a single day. All that being said, its camera is nothing special in my opinion. I ordered another Google Pixel the other day because I just can't get images to look as good on the iPhone, regardless of how much I tweak the photographic styles. But everything else about the Mini is awesome so I think for those who don't care a lot about cameras, and/or prefer iOS to Android, this is a good phone to buy even in 2024. I'll probably keep it as a secondary after switching back to a Pixel.

I like your case, my current case is nice and drop proof but I think it's a bit thick and heavy and detracts from the feel of the mini.

When i was deciding what phone to buy next after my 12 pro max, I wanted to buy 15 pro. but then i realized Mini iphone will never exist again from now on. So i picked up blue 13 mini 256gb, super happy with my technological minimalist choice, i really think this phone is all you need

i bough a $2 case to know is worth to buy the 13 mini or not having and 6.1_______screen.....i own 15 pro...so it's not a big difference....i think regular 15 is way closer to 13 mini due to of its weight

7:49 idk why you consider it's battery is "really bad" when you have to charge it at least once a day 😂 I mean, even on a bigger battery phone (Android) i still charge at least once per day anyway (at night when i sleep). Unless you somehow live somewhere with scarce electricity or have job that requires constant phone usage and lack powerbank/power outlet (you shouldn't even consider mini in the first place) i don't think it's a big problem at all

Add pro motion and improve battery life and the mini would be perfect

I had the 12 Mini. Upgraded to the 13 Mini when i found out battery life was better. The battery on the 13 Mini was better when it was new. After daily use, the life of the battery dropped fast. I was sad when they decided not to continue the mini series. I ended up leaving iphone after many years to get a more pocketable phone. If Apple eventually brings back the mini, i might come back.

@@derikhancock1224Oh I thought you found some hidden gem in the standard form factor. 😀 I had a Samsung Flip 3 for 3 months before the pixels started to die in the crease. And it's actually very annoying to open the phone for basically any task.

Just bought a 13 mini from Apple refurb. Looks like a new phone. As you say the battery life is poor, but its worse than my iphone 7 which has a smaller battery and now at 82%. I feel thats worse than it should be, any thoughts

Honestly we've all been spoiled by the huge screen.. if we can live the way we used to with such a small screen.. i dont think we would suffer from smartphone..

I upgraded to a 13 Mini in January this year, and I absolutely love it. It has the same footprint as my iPhone 7 which, at the time, wasn’t considered “Mini”. I was able to get a mint condition 13 Mini in Product Red, with 100% battery. At the time, the Amazon Apple Store still had new ones on sale, but pink was the only colour still in stock. I’m not a fan of full cases, and I don’t want to hide the gorgeous red, so use a bumper and MagSafe grip. I’ve also got a MagSafe battery bank that I use as a stand to trigger Standby Mode. I also use an iPad Mini, and am impatiently waiting for its upgrade. I was hoping Apple might use the Mini frame for the next SE. If the company thinks we don’t want Mini iPhones/iPads, it is VERY wrong. Thanks for the content.

QUESTION for you all! If the 13 mini is not a popular smartphone why then is so hard to find a new one in stores? but regular 13 can be founded brand new almost everywhere.

Loving my mini 13. The only downfall is my phone’s camera broke exactly after 1 year 😂😂

Battery is “very bad” for people who want 7+ hrs sot daily… which is nuts by itself to stare at a phone for 7+ hours a day. My 13 mini gets me 1.5 days with light-moderate usage with zero social media @ 93% bh.

I had the 12 Mini and liked it but the battery life was okay, I have the 12 Pro Max and I love but it's too big and heavy for running, hiking and biking. The 12 Mini was the perfect size and I carry all my music on the iPhone. I'm going to purchase a refurbed 13 from Amazon or Back Market. Sadly, I don't see it returning and no ESIM only on the 13!

I had the iphone 4 until the 5s before I switched to the bigger 6s plus. I really hated using that big phone because it is cumbersome to carry in my pocket. Changed it to the first gen SE then bought the 12 mini. I am just waiting for the 13 mini to become cheaper here in the PH but I will not get any big phone again.

Watching on my mini while I charge it for the third time today. The performance on mine has been awful as of late and I’m wondering if it’s battery related? Wondering if paying to get a new battery would be what I need… but the camera… ugh! My bf has a 15 pro max and I’m constantly asking to use his phone to take pics bc the mini just doesn’t compare. I’m contemplating getting the 15 pro and keeping my 13 mini stored away so I can come back to her. OR do I wait til Sept with the hopes that Apple has heard our pleas the past couple of years to bring back the mini, and as a pro?

I don’t think I will sell mine. I think I will just keep it. I use Samsung too. S23. iPhone has its advantages and disadvantages. But the mini is the perfect size for normal people. With normal hands.

If they find a way to address some customers' concerns of "ew, small screen" and "ugh, not enough battery life" then it would sell really well. If you're fed up with the small display, then good! We should be spending less time on our phones anyways. Any tasks that demand a larger screen, use your laptop, or visit your local library to use a computer. That way, all of our fingers are being used to type on a full-size physical keyboard, and not just the poor tendons in our thumbs. Not enough battery life? Then, be smart with the way you use your phone! Social media apps are what people spend a lot of time on, so cutting as much social media out of your life will inevitably help ease battery life. You'd only want the Pro lineup of phones if you are a power user who needs their phone for professional work, or your job is centred around the use of a phone. Not everyone is a power user. A lot of us are just regular people enjoying regular lives. Ah, but regular users want to buy into status symbols, they want to buy a camera with marginally better quality. Ignoring completely things like practicality, the joy of typing with one hand, the way a Mini iPhone can help with digital detoxing. It's a shame the Mini series didn't sell more. It's a shame we've forgotten the phone is a tool, not a way of life.

Just get a mag safe magnetic charger to somehow solve the bad battery

I was all inn to join apple but that battery life though, my non crazy mind says u like mini so much might as well try a flip 5 and then the non psychotic mind went like if u riskying the mess of folding screens might go bold lets go fold, thoughts ?

I was a dedicated android user until I held this phone in my hand. I agree with everything said about the iphone 13 mini in this video. And I would like to add that for content creators, this phone sticks well to magsafe gimbals, due to the light weight. I share yourd dreams of a re-birth of the mini format.

I wish Apple would come out with a mini every 5 years so it wouldn't hurt them too much to make money.

I really like my mini. I wish there was a version of it with USB c. That’s the only thing really that I don’t like.

It’s a good buy. Fast as ever. I really wanted USB C because of the ability to transfer files but now that I have built a home server I can just transfer directly to it with the native files app. Depending on your needs, lightning might not be an issue. Especially with MagSafe.

I traded my 12 Mini for a 13 Mini a year and a half ago when we switched from Verizon to T-Mobile. My Apple Care expires in early November and I suspect it may get damaged shortly before then. I have two lines on it (one from T-Mobile and one from Consumer Cellular/AT&T), so I might just buy the new SE when it finally comes out just to have an option of screen sizes, but I definitely will not be trading in the 13 Mini.
