Why do they make it so difficult for you to remove the battery. Not even 10 years ago I could just simply pop off the back cover and simply remove it.

They copied apple and realized they can make lots of money this way. Make the phone last 1-2 years then when the battery packs up the average user won't know how to take the back off and replace and will just go and buy another one! This is what made Samsung great back in the day when you could make your phone last for a long time by just popping out the battery in a few minutes but know they have become greedy like apple.

possible, but i think b7000/6000 is much better option
In regards to a water damaged Samsung A51 G5 - I replaced the battery, charging port and fingerprint sensor. Unfortunately it still will not turn on. What am I missing? Does this mean the phone is not able to be fixed?

You had what damage right ? why did you replace the charging port board ? have you figured out anything to do that ?

If it was drenched in water many key components could've shorted and fried, in that case there is no saving your phone unfortunately
Can we change 5G version battery to 4G one?

BEWARE DIY battery replacement with this phone. I bricked my phone attempting this! Its not worth the risk! I've learned my lesson about buying Samsung phones. This device is designed to be destroyed by non-professional maintenance. You have been warned.

Not sure
I shut down the phone. Then every time i try to pull the case off the phone comes on by itself again. Now it went into a download mode for several minutes
