Taken from what claims to be the only known filmed Rat Pack concert from the 1960s, Sammy Davis Jr. Sings (with just percussion accompaniment) I've Got You Under My Skin, You Came A Long Way From St. Louis, You Are My Sunshine, and Bee-Bom. He then shows the dances of the time: The Monkey, Jerk, Mash Potato, Fruit, and the Swim.

One of my favorite performance..so talented... absolute pleasure to hear Sammy, sing and dance.

I’m not going to become an old man and say that music today lacks this type of entertainment because it’s truly some awesome talented singers/dancers/overall show men and women out today but my God this is truly what being an entertainer means.
I know the band was being professional, but it’s no way I wouldn’t be smiling and damn near out of my seat looking at greatness performing.

I saw him in Golden Boy. After the performance he came out and apologized for feeling under the weather, and did an hour of entertaining as his "apology." I also saw him in Jersey City at the Loews, where, among other things, he put on a quick draw exhibition with a six shooter. The four people who gave a thumbs down here are tone-deaf.
The dances he does at 5:42 are awesome! If there was a .gif file of Sammy Davis Jr. doing the mashed potatoes repeatedly, I'd probably use it a lot, not least for a profile picture on forums and such! :D Brilliantly talented guy, as were Martin and Sinatra.

i had the DVD and can't find it. I love Sammy's version of I've Got You Under My Skin so much more than Frank's.
I'm pretty shure Prince has learned a lot from his performance.
you see these days so many "shitty videos" with millions of views after 2 weeks and then you see this kind of videos with almost 3k views after 2 years.. and it's just sad..

I briefly and I mean briefly dated a woman who called Sammy and Uncle Tom cause he conformed instead of being truly black and standing by his brothers and sisters. It would of took me a lifetime to explain why she was wrong so instead of explaining it I just stopped talking to her lol. One might think I was petty but eh 😂
