Fun Fact. Chihuahuas are completely immune to the deadly effects of Rabies... but the Violence is tenfold. The Mayans have predicted that December 21st, 2020 a plague of Rabies will infect every Chihuahua on Earth and Devour all life on the planet like a B-list Stephen King Sci-Fi movie from 1995

Man, the chihuahua in my house is completely calm. We raised him from when he was really young though, and we are generally pretty quiet. He's named Odin, so maybe he got some wisdom from his name or something, a kind of monster evolution from getting named. Who knows.

Weiner dogs were actually bred with a purpose. Because they had short legs and long bodies, they were excellent burrow hunters. They could catch and chase rabbits, badgers, foxes through the dens. A pack of them could even bring a human down if they felt like it. They are gud bois. Edit: spelling

  • @rorydakin8048

I'm pretty sure a pack of anything can bring down whatever if it needed to, without weapons I'm sure you'd have trouble taking on a "pack" of ants totaling to 10% your body mass, because that's about a million ants. With dachshunds, about only one of them makes up 10% of a human, so all things considered, I would much rather square off against one dog than a million ants

Bonus baby superpower: We're all actually born able to hear and recreate the distinction between every phoneme in existence, phonemes being the fundamental sounds that exist across various languages, which is why language learning is slightly more second nature to infants and small children than it is for adults, while adults can learn more through context in language, babies learn by osmosis and after a certain age it's believed we lose our ability to hear and differentiate these sounds to the same degree, which is why one of the main contributor to language barriers is pronunciation. Like how the English sounds for "c," "f," "l," "q," "v," and "x" are entirely missing in the Japanese language, leading to mispronunciation like "France" becoming "Huransu". Or more commonly, words containing "L" sounds being mispronounced with "R" sounds, hence the concept of "Engrish".

I've never had a demon spawn chihuahua (I've seen them, not denying that they exist). The closest to that I've had would *act* like a demon spawn but that was her way of playing. She'd hold a bone down and growl/snarl/yap at you if you tried to take it and then play tug of war with you. She wouldn't even try to bite you, but if you had your hand too close to her head she'd smother your hand in licks. Another one I had was just lazy. He'd lounge around in his bed but would bark your ear off if someone was at the door. The one I have now used to be as playful and hyper as possible. If you acted like you threw a toy (don't even have anything in your hand), she'd zoom around the entire house in a loop for a couple minutes before coming back to you. Now she's a lazy little loaf, sunbathing on the sidewalk when I let her out. Though she does still sprint to me, crying her little throat out, when I get home from work.
