He didn’t talk about the vampire crab, it does not drink blood or anything like that, they are a pretty purple color with bright yellow eyes and are active at night, they are pretty neat pets

Thank you for letting me know about their existence. Vampire Crabs are so pretty. The purple with yellow eyes looks like a walking Tim Burton movie. And the yellow & red one with grey feet, looks like a spider made of lava.

I don’t even think they’re digestible tbh, like Chavezz said they’re mostly shell at that tiny size and you can’t really eat the shell of crabs, it’s not exactly something our bodies can digest. Plus they’re a protected species anyway so it’d be illegal

@@NightAn93lthe snow crab I’ve eaten seems much smaller than the spider crabs I’ve seen. So I googled it and snow crabs are opilio crabs. I heard about those often on deadliest catch as a kid. But people do eat spider crab, apparently it’s good but not usually worth the effort considering they don’t actually have much meat.

That “all things turn into crabs” thing is like a big misunderstanding lol, there are lots of invertebrate species that have evolved a “crab” shape despite not being closely related to each other, but that doesn’t mean that there are going to be mammalian crabs running around in the future lol. It’s just a form of extreme convergent evolution, like trees for example. Taxonomically speaking trees don’t exist, there are lots of plants that are called trees that aren’t closely related to each other at all. The rules for “tree” are basically just a large plant with a tall thick stem/trunk.
