@@JaxBeta i have to disagree with you, my friend. I love babies, way too cute. Is just that I think that people want a pet instead of kids are dumb. They are both living things, you need to spend money on them, take care of them, both shit and piss, and kids give you tax breaks (like casual says) pets don't.

My favorite is a moment that Steve Irwin had in Indonesia. She made an effort to climb down to him and show off her new baby to him. Somehow, she knew Steve was not a threat and literally cuddled him and showed off her child to him

The whole thing with Tasmanian Devils eating their young: they only have four nipples in their pouch, so any baby that doesn't latch to a nipple will die even if the mother doesn't eat it. You also have to remember that marsupial joeys are like the size of a jellybean when born and not even fully developed. They're basically an embryo with front legs that climb to the pouch. Plus, eating the extra joeys means more nutrition for the mother to raise the four that did attach to the nipples. Also, there are probably more animals than you can count that will eat their babies, for a number of reasons - extra nutrition and removing the smell of death to not attract predators. I've heard that hamsters will just eat their babies if they get too stressed out.

I bought some Liquid IV a little while ago and if someone tries it and likes it, good for them, but it's not for me lmao. When I first tried it, I put it in a water bottle that was slightly above room temp which was my own fault. But when I got home, I tried it in a cold water bottle as well and I still didn't like it. For some reason it feels thick and warm, no matter how cold the water itself is, so it never felt refreshing to me. The flavor is alright but not as good as it smells. I intend to try it in a larger amount of water at some point but I doubt I'll purchase again.

I'm all out of grandparents first to go with my 57-year-old paternal Grandma whose birthday I share from colon cancer when I was 10 then maternal Grandpa who I believe had a heart attack or something while he was getting dressed one morning he was about 90 and then my mom's mom had a stroke and died around the time I was 17 and when I was I believe 35 my dad's dad died and that was basically he had dementia and he was just declining steadily from when he was living by himself and doing everything for himself to meeting help from his kids to being moved to a nursing home but still able to walk around to needing a wheelchair to being just freaking bedridden and we had to go up there to feed him to make sure that he was eating because a lot of the people who were there to take care of them were more like oh he's not eating I guess he's not hungry and that would be it they just try to put a spoon in his mouth turned his head they just gave up
