9:43 whats that synth with the arp melody? is it controlled via sonic pi? love to see tech details about what's going on here (maybe patreon post?)

Good idea - I really need to do some tech insight videos for Patreon. The synth with the arp melody is a ASM HydraSynth. It's connected via MIDI to a Raspberry Pi running Sonic Pi v4 BETA-2 which is using the new built-in Ableton Link functionality to sync BPM with the primary Sonic Pi instance and convert it to MIDI clock ticks. This means that all the hardware synths are in time with all the Sonic Pi instances. Link is great!

@@SamAaron ok, found this hydrasynth, definitely out of my budget ;) so is link used to sync 2 sonic pi instances? does hydrasynth have it's own sequencer or is it triggered by midi from another sonic pi instance?

@@pjagielski yep, link is used to sync Sonic Pi instances running on different computers connected to the same network. It can also sync with other software and apps that supports Ableton Link. I’m using the HydraSynth’s built-in arpeggiator in this set, but it could be easily replicated in Sonic Pi using the MIDI functionality :-)
