Funny thing is I’ve never seen an actual hood review for his food. Seen a lot of people try it but the collective opinion is it’s overhyped and over priced for what you get. The novelty somehow isn’t wearing off though, like it usually does with celebrity endorsement.

No, I think he's being brutally honest here. Filet mignon is an overrated cut that doesn't have a lot of flavor by itself. He's right to say it's bland; that's in character for the cut and also what you should expect getting steak from a restaurant. Gordon's meatballs looked like garbage so not surprised there either. Could make better ones at home -- all that gunk on the top couldn't hide the bad texture (probably too heavy on the bread crumbs/panko). Both are ludicrously overpriced as well, so the price definitely affects his enjoyment too.

Salt Bae: A Phenomenon. Salt Bae, whose real name is Nusret Gökçe, is a Turkish butcher, chef, and restaurateur who gained global fame for his unique and theatrical way of seasoning and preparing meat. Born in Erzurum, Turkey, in 1983, Gökçe started working in the butchery business at the age of 14. He later moved to Istanbul, where he worked at various restaurants and honed his skills as a chef and butcher. Gökçe first gained international attention in January 2017, when a video of him preparing and seasoning meat at his Nusr-Et Steakhouse in Dubai went viral. In the video, he is seen dramatically sprinkling salt over his forearm and then skillfully flicking it onto the meat. This signature move soon became known as the "Salt Bae" and turned Gökçe into a social media sensation overnight. Following the viral video, Salt Bae memes, GIFs, and videos flooded the internet, and his fame skyrocketed. Celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio, David Beckham, and DJ Khaled were seen dining at his restaurant, and Salt Bae even appeared in a music video with French Montana and Drake. However, Salt Bae's rise to fame was not without controversy. In 2018, a video of him cutting and preparing meat at his New York City restaurant went viral, causing backlash from animal rights activists. The video showed Gökçe slicing a large cut of meat in front of PETA protesters while wearing a T-shirt with the slogan "salt bae loves animals too." Many criticized him for being insensitive to animal welfare, while others defended his right to operate a business that served meat. Despite the controversy, Salt Bae's popularity continued to grow, and he opened new restaurants in Miami, Istanbul, and other cities around the world. He also expanded his menu beyond steak to include dishes such as lamb chops, kebabs, and sushi. In addition to his restaurants, Salt Bae has become a social media influencer with millions of followers on Instagram and Twitter. He regularly posts videos of himself preparing meat and doing the Salt Bae move, and he has even collaborated with brands such as Coca-Cola and Beats by Dre. Salt Bae's rise to fame is a testament to the power of social media and viral content. While some criticize him for his showmanship and meat-centric menu, others praise him for his culinary skills and his ability to create a memorable dining experience. Regardless of one's opinion, there is no denying that Salt Bae has made a significant impact on the world of food and pop culture. We're no strangers to love You know the rules and so do I A full commitment's what I'm thinking of You wouldn't get this from any other guy I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling Gotta make you understand Never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and desert you Never gonna make you cry Never gonna say goodbye Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you We've known each other for so long Your heart's been aching but you're too shy to say it Inside we both know what's been going on We know the game and we're gonna play it I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling Gotta make you understand Never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and desert you Never gonna make you cry Never gonna say goodbye Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you (Ooh give you up) (Ooh give you up) Never gonna give, never gonna give (Give you up) Never gonna give, never gonna give (Give you up) I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling Gotta make you understand Never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and desert you Never gonna make you cry Never gonna say goodbye Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
