even before this video you really helped me with throwing punches, i used to hyperextend my elbow a lot flinging out the right cross, feels way more powerful, proper, and defensively responsible with the cuban style

Cool vid. When doing 1,2 i jump a bit, gives me more momentum, power. One suggestion, you could include full speed version, where you do the movement in full speed.

Great video. Coach the rotation n getting power into ur punch is just like we generate power in baseball. Hitting n pitching. The rotation of the hips generates power and pretty much I guess every sport I'm going to use this tape to show the students thank you.

If y’all struggling with the right out step make sure when you do the slip motion to the right drop and rotate your heel fully to the left then throw the punch as soon as the left foot that follows hits the floor

The more you rotate the back foot on the slip the better and more power the cross gone have when you rotate back fully

are the knees lining up at the end a cuban thing? because i'm told to have a wider stance such that my lead knee is still quite a bit ahead of my rear knee at the full extent of the rotation. what's the advantage of having the knees line up at the end? was my stance too wide to begin with if my knees don't line up at the end of rotation? this is for the stationary position.
