I forgot to mention this is the first time I landed on your videos though I'm browsing Sweden videos from last one month. I can say your content is very precise and clear. In my other comment I've requested to make a video on - how to find home in Gothenburg. I learned that you are from IT background so am I. I wanted to know if my wife (on dependent visa) would be able to find jobs in SAP domain in Gothenburg? Appreciate your effort 😀👍

Hey Rajeev , first of all thank you very much for such nice comment. Yes with a dependent visa, it is very much possible for you wife to do jobs here.. there are opportunities I have seen in SAP but mostly in Stockholm. But if you can search in linkedin. I will give you one suggestion, if she can switch to web development like Java , .net, JavaScript, angular or react with cloud knowledge in Azure and AWS. Then there are lots of opportunities here.I know it's hard to change technology at this point . Even my wife was not into web development, but she learnt it in 6 months and able to get a job recently. I wish all the very best to you and your wife.

Most of the time when you are staying in rent the electricity bill and internet bill are included in the rent. But there is possibilty you have to pay that amount. Internet will be under 200 SEK if there is connection to the place or else you can purchase router and SIM card which will cost you around 400. But you can also use Lycamobile which is 99 SEK per month with 8 GB data. Not sure about electricity, normally it is included. Yes you can find part time jobs like fodora or swiggy , McDonald's , not sure about the amount but I think you will find it difficult to manage a family with this. During this COVID, yes the number of opportunities have gone down. But now there are requirements particularly in IT field.

Hi, I'm living in a smaller city in Sweden in a rental apartment where we don't have electricity included. I can give you some information about utility bills in my situation. We pay for the connection to the supplier and to the supplier and consumption affects the bill. On average we pay 250 SEK in summer and 400 SEK in winter in total. We don't use too many lights and don't have laundry machines, microwave or dishwasher. I'm guessing these appliances can add 200 SEK. I have also lived in another apartment where we didn't have internet and water included in the rent. There I paid 150 SEK flat rate for the connection to supplier and about 200 SEK for good internet supplier, so in total I paid 350 SEK for broadband. Hot water and cold water was measured separately. On average we paid 200 SEK for hot water and 100 SEK for cold water. I hope this gives you some more information.

So if earning is 30k then tax is (32%) 6400 which leads to take home = 23K (approx). and expenditure you told around 16k for famile with kids so saving is 5 k (approx) which is good amount i think. India men bhi 30% tax hai in 2022 and in return you get nothing like healthcare and schooling. So Sweden is better overall.
